  1. Do you consider PornHub to be a hookup/dating site? Because Mastercard's rules could decimate the Internet porn business, but dating sites would not be affected per se, because pornography is not fundamental to the business model. Thus I'm confused how a conversation about a threat to the porn business gets conflated as a threat to the profile/chat business.
  2. I am not a lawyer, but based on what I read here, I think: This is unlikely to affect iOS/Android native apps because the app stores forbid sexually explicit content anyway. This could affect sites that rely on cc:bill and other factoring services. This could affect large commercial sites like manhunt. This could affect adult content producers like RFC. This could affect adult content publishers like OnlyFans. This is unlikely to affect websites or web apps that are either free to use, or rely on an advertising model (including Twitter), unless 47 USC § 230 is revoked on account of Google, Facebook, and Twitter's engagement in censorship, propaganda, and gaslighting.
  3. Most website operators don't realize you don't have to serve everyone on the planet, and as far as hacking, spamming, and scamming go, it's best not to.
  4. In my day, we fucked as a way of screening potential boyfriends.
  5. Technically, yes; but practically, no. Scammers tend to come from third-world countries where Internet cafes are the primary method of web access. The proprietors of such establishments don't care about or provide such frills as guaranteed anonymity, and if they did, the VPN they're connecting through can be excluded. Any decent social website will give you the means to blocks pests at the account level, and it's good management practice to ban or limit accounts with a high number of blocks against them.
  6. There's no law requiring you to serve every country on earth. Why can't you block the ones notorious for scam artists?
  7. Los Angeles. SMH. I could have found a fuck just as lousy or worse in my own back yard. He paid for the ticket tho, so why not.
  8. Those times I can feel it, the guy's piss slit is jammed into the rectum and it feels like a hot wet cramp, followed by some kind of sympathetic nervous response where the salivary glands in the back of the mouth squirt. It's very erotic.
  9. My postings are limited until my rep is established, so forgive me if i don't reply right away.

  12. I use DuckDuckGo, which doesn't log queries and aggregates results from different search engines. Bing seems very good at finding porn videos, though.
  13. Thanks for bringing the problem to our attention. We think the problem is fixed now, and we invite anyone who never received a password to re-register. Do you still want me to delete your account? The "lost password?" link should restore access to your account if the password you were sent doesn't work. PROTIP: Do not use a Private / Incognito tab to visit our site. It's not necessary (we don't place trackers on your browser, nor do we allow third parties to do so), and it may cause the site to malfunction. If you're worried about trackers, try the EFF's Privacy Badger extension: https://www.eff.org/privacybadger I've seen you online several times in the last week, so I'm going to assume you worked things out.

  20. The registration system was borked for several hours (probably all day) yesterday, until about 11:30 p.m. Central time. That was my fault. However, the login system is definitely not broken. It's just a new way of doing things. We don't want to store user passwords on our system because people tend to invent very lame ones, and reuse them over and over again, and frequently forget them. We decided it was time to do away with passwords altogether. The first time you visit, if the system has never seen you before, it will ask you to register. You then receive an email containing a token good for one login on any device (like a public computer), or a link that will keep you logged in indefinitely on the device that you received that message. Most people will choose to stay logged in on their PC, tablet, and phone, so they only have to deal with one email each for those devices. Most people use their primary email account on their smartphone, so if they're away from home and would like to use someone else's computer, they can receive a token good for one login on their phone and not have to worry about leaving themselves logged in on a computer they don't control. (Of course they could just use their phone or tablet instead of someone else's PC, but some people prefer the comfort of a monitor, mouse and keyboard wherever possible. I know I do.) For the record, we don't try to figure out who is a "bear" or a "daddy", but if you're not those types or into those types of men, you will probably not receive a lot of attention from the guys who are.
  21. All self-reported data is subject to fudging. The problem with ZIP codes isn't that they're too coarse, it's that people dislike revealing intimate information and will tend to report the ZIP code where they work, or grew up, or lived 5 years ago, rather than the one they're actually in. The smaller the search radius, the greater the reporting error. IP-based geolocation is only reliable for PCs, because mobile devices must maintain the same IP for the duration of the browsing session, but GPS is a notorious and brutal battery drainer, so you can't use it more than once per session in good conscience (and it's only as accurate as the the other guy's most recently updated coordinates, even then). These are tough engineering problems.
  22. Try to login again, and if it doesn't work, reply to one of the test messages I sent you and I'll troubleshoot from there.
  23. What device was it? A guy reported a similar problem earlier today (he couldn't upload a pic), my guess is that it's the browser, but I need to know which one.
  24. You don't get a confirmation email, you get a link to login. That gets sent to the address you registered with, and we deal with photo approval later (like when I'm awake).
  25. Chrome is a pig, but Firefox is slender and fast these days. Is that out of the question? Or maybe you have an iOS or Android phone or tablet? IE support may be a long time coming, but when it does, only the most recent version(s) might be supported.
