How over saturated the industry has gotten. It seems everyone and their dog seems to think they’re worthy of getting paid and no one just wants to be a pig. Sites that keep everything behind a pay wall or offer extremely limited previews of what you’re getting in to before you sub. OF is the worst for this. Creators that are borderline of not completely scamming their subscribers. Should have to sub just to have to pay again to see the good stuff. The lack of ability to search and filter content. The search capabilities on some sites is pretty much useless. Sometimes it’s due to everyone using the same tired keywords and others it’s due to the algorithm serving up content it thinks you want instead of the actual content you want. -
I think the current JFF/OF bubble is going to burst if it hasn’t already started. Subbing for multiple creators is a costly venture and it’s harder for smaller creators to combat piracy. The market is already flooded with creators trying to cash in. Eventually the markets going to become too saturated to support the current model. Also the number of creators who are borderline if not outright scamming subscribers is also going to sour things.
