No neither addressed age of consent laws. But they marked the dates that Gay men were essentially declared to be human and the USA became less fascist (it's still primarily a financial scheme to impoverish people in order to enrich a small number of financial Oligarchs). So Gay men were essentially declared human in the US in 2003 with the overturning of Bowers v. Hardwick, as you explicitly mention. -

I used to be a male stripper in a major US Gay city. Most of the Gay strippers started fucking at least by 16 and many were aggressive about it, targeting older Gay men to get devirginized. I had an older friend who was a high profile government employee. He had sex with a boy who said he was 16, which was the age of consent in his state. My friend had checked the boy's birth certificate, who had however provided the birth certificate of his *dead brother*. As it turned out the boy's mother, living in another state, complained. I think it turned out to be true that the boy had been 16 but the US Federal agency wasn't interested in the age of consent at all. They explicitly told my friend that they were holding him to a higher standard because of his position in their agency. His career was ruined. This was well before the surprise US Supreme Court Gay marriage ruling circa 2007 that in effect declared Gay men to be human so age of consent laws might play the role they are supposed to play in your case. But I wouldn't hold my breath. 18 and above is a safe limit. BTW my friend was also accused later of pedophilia by his *27* year old (!!!) boyfriend's mother (a naturalized German-Russian immigrant who had lived most of her life in NYC at that point and just couldn't accept that her "little boy" liked men, dick and ass). You just can't anticipate the idiocy that people will throw at you. -

That's because Americans are overwhelmingly Puritanical and want to control others. It is clearly fraudulent to suggest that a sexual encounter between an 18 year old and a 40 year old is pedophiliac and suggesting that the 40 year old should be arrested is intentionally demagogic. And when I say "demagogic" - I'm internally translating from the German word "Volksverhetzung" which is a much more accurate concept. Americans are showing signs of returning to the Nazi plan of targeting sexual activity other than for reproduction and once again completely condemning LGBTQI sexual activity. The people in that Reddit thread are deliberately attempting to destroy others and poison society through their Puritanical "rabble-rousing." -

Went to Cumunion at Steamworks in Chicago on March 18. However I couldn't actually find the party. While guys were there, there didn't seem to be that many. I also got there late, around 2:30 am on Saturday morning. Flew to Berkeley this past Friday for Cumunion. Results were mixed and I was monumentally disappointed. After arrival I didn't get fucked at all until close to the 6 hour time limit. Everyone around me was getting their brains fucked out. Another bottom wanted me to fuck him (and I was so desperate that I tried). I was reduced to licking ass in the fuck bench area (not bad, but that's not why I went). Only after the 1st and 2nd string (and maybe 3rd and 4th) string holes left did I get fucked, and by people who pointedly passed on me before. Got fucked 3 times but all at the end of my time. Went back on Saturday and got a similar result (although I had also done an occult ritual to get fuckers totally hot for my ass - this worked in one case with a guy raving about me as he fucked me a few hours after he first met me - this seems to be a result of waiting toward the end of one's time there to fuck or cum in ass). Also fucked 3 or 4 times and also mostly at the end. It is true that the last gasp of the possibility of the US moving to a democracy was destroyed with the R and D destruction of the Occupy movement, at least for the next 20 years. Interesting that some Americans are incapable of interpreting the Russian myths driving Putin's idiocy without invoking the Marxist/Communist shibboleth. But this is because Americans in general have a very restricted view of the world (in fact Europeans do also since they also did not understand the Russian myths driving Putin). You are correct that thus far we do not see any significant push-back against Putin inside Russia but we are also not getting an accurate view of events there.

The best estimate is thus far 60% of Russians seem to support Putin overall and 40% are in opposition. The opposition always overestimates it's support. Thus far the apparatus of the state is still behind Putin although the move placing nuclear forces on high alert may horrify enough people to change that (and this could easily have unanticipated results).

That's true. Now. However that was not true as recently as 2020. Prior to October, 2019 I was able to get on an insurance plan that covered PrEP at a reasonable cost for me (I'm not sure when I got on PrEP - certainly not before October 2018). However my insurance plan changed and insurance plans in the USA are opaque - the details in many cases are completely unclear. When the new plan kicked in and I ran out of PrEP, my refill was going to cost me over $5000 for a three month supply. I was stunned (and tried to get a picture of the cost). I in fact reported this fact to the Washington Blade for them to look into. I heard nothing back from them. Yet another reason why the ACA, while a step forward, is not even close to universal health care (I'd had true believer Democrats who have actually lived in countries that did have universal health care argue otherwise). The fact was that this was a policy change (and incredibly a policy change under a Nazi-leaning government [the Republicans under that grifter from Queens]). However the policy could be changed again and people could indeed have to pay the full cost for PrEP, since the USA is primarily about control, capitalism and homophobia.
