Maybe this is an age thing. In my 20s I fucked on poppers almost all the time, but as I moved into my late 30s and forties they started to affect me differently. I use them now when I bottom (which is most of the time) and never when on the rare occasion I top.

Rarely I top and if I use poppers then when I cum it is usually 5x the amount as without. And I'll be unlikely to want to go again for long time - maybe 12-24hrs. The other thing to factor in is the very high risk of using viagra and poppers... and in group/cruising situations that may be required to stay rock hard for a long time.
