Most of the Russian/Slavic guys are in Brooklyn and Queens. Homophobia is a huge issue with them. I have no clue how you go about finding them.

Any bar or club is bound to have some Russians, but there is no particular gathering spot for them (like there are for Asians and blacks and others). I think you should post on Craig's List and hook-up sites when you arrive.

Whatever you do, don't make the mistake I saw yesterday on Craig's List! Somebody advertised for South Brooklyn, which is an Italian enclave on the harbor facing the Statue of Liberty. The ad made it clear that he meant southern Brooklyn (where the Russians are) and not South Brooklyn, but when I pointed this out, he insisted that I was wrong.
