jridge Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 anyone still sorts in denial or struggling with being gay? Im in that boat, and would be cool to talk to someone in the same boat. I know I'm a faggot who likes cock, but still sorta try to convince myself I'm not gay. Anyone feel the same way? 2 1
Alaric Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Just go to a gay sauna for a few hours. You don't have to be gay to go to these places, but there is a good chance that by the time you leave you will have a better understanding of your emotions, particularly if you are not walking so easily as you did when you entered the place. If you lay naked face down in an open doored cubicle with your pucker hole lubed you will find greater understanding much more quickly. 2
submissivefaggot Posted December 29, 2010 Report Posted December 29, 2010 Yes jridge, I'm in that boat too. Especially try and deny it just after a fuck.
jridge Posted December 30, 2010 Author Report Posted December 30, 2010 Yes jridge, I'm in that boat too. Especially try and deny it just after a fuck. Thats me too, especially after I cum, I say to myself I'm not gay. funny isnt it? not sure what to do, but here I keep coming to the forum posting.
NYCPissBear Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 Gay is a label, a shorthand word to connote men who prefer sex with men. But because other things are also associated with the word, some guys are uncomfortable using it to describe themselves. Whether it's because they like sex with women, too, or just don't like being associated with people who use the term who have what they consider unattractive attributes, they feel it limits them instead of describes them. Context is all. Other people bring their own contexts into it, and guys who don't like thinking of themselves as gay don't want to bother with other peoples' contexts. Sometimes those contexts include discrimination, rejection and violence. I'm gay, but I'm much more than that, too. Mostly, I'm a man. (Well, I'm entirely a man, but even that doesn't entirely describe who and what I am.) Are you a man? Are you a man who likes to fuck with other men? Good enough for me. (Just don't tell me you fuck women, too...I don't need to know that.) 1
Administrators rawTOP Posted December 30, 2010 Administrators Report Posted December 30, 2010 There's a difference between gay and "MSM" (men who have sex with men). Gay is about the relationship. MSM is about the sex. It's perfectly normal (though a bit rare) to want a relationship with a woman and sex with men. I think some people fall into that category because of homophobia and prejudice but there are some where it's just how they're wired. So you can be here wanting to get fucked by guys and still be straight when it comes to relationship stuff. 1 2
hungry_hole Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 When people ask me if I'm gay my answer is always "No." Why? because for me being gay means that I'm different from "other" men. And I don't think that I am any different other than I accept anon sex and the consequences of it (*HIV, etc). "Being gay" is also associated with being a victim and I have never seen myself as a victim.
Bart Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 If you are only attracted to men you are gay, if you only like the sex and/or are attracted to women you're bisexual. I don't get it why men can't be bisexual and woman can.
submissivefaggot Posted December 30, 2010 Report Posted December 30, 2010 I'm attracted to women and want to be sexual with them and have relationships; whereas I'm not attracted to men and have no desire to have a relationship with a man. However I am simply unable to get sexually aroused when with a woman and am at the point where I can only achieve an erection and orgasm when being a bottom cumdump. 1
jridge Posted December 31, 2010 Author Report Posted December 31, 2010 I'm attracted to women and want to be sexual with them and have relationships; whereas I'm not attracted to men and have no desire to have a relationship with a man. However I am simply unable to get sexually aroused when with a woman and am at the point where I can only achieve an erection and orgasm when being a bottom cumdump. I think you describe me the best. I want to be attracted to women and have relationships with them, but Im only sexually attracted to men. My desire for men seems to get stronger with each year. I watch gay porn daily, and hire gay escorts when i cant find a man to hookup with. Yesterday, I went to a bathhouse for anaonymous sex with hot men. And I usually only top, but now I want to start bottoming. I struggle with all this, and try to stop myself from thinking about men, and pursuing sex with men, but the desire is so strong, I cant seem to stop it. 1 1
ruralguy7326 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Bottom line is guys that till you accept and admit to yourself who you realy are, true happiness will always be just slightly out of reach. Admitting to being gay is not a weakness and I am not a victim. Infact admitting to being gay and being out takes a hell of a lot of courage and strength of character. You have to have balls to be able to deal with homophobes and ignorant F%#$@. Having to lie to yourself is one thing, lying to your "Girlfriends" or "wifes" and workmates can be awful especially when the truth comes out. 1 2
wammt Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 I have known (and admitted) that I am bi for close to 40 years. Some people don't (or didn't)like it, and some do get turned on by it. It also resulted in being ostrascized at times by both the straight and gay communities.
ruralguy7326 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 When we hide from who we realy are, or try to ignore a big part of ourselfs in effect we are just running from the truth. When I stopped running years ago and just accepted myself for who I was life became so much easier. I was not so exhausted maintaining a huge lie. Yes I took some good hits from life, but it all toughened me up. Now I don't take crap from anyone and everyone who knows me also knows I am gay, homo or whatever lable people want to use. It's not everything about me it is realy just a small part of a larger picture. I live in the country and yes I'm out to all my neighbours as well and I have never had any problems. "wammt" pointed out that he has had to face descrimination. Also the fact that it has come from within the gay community is nothing new, lets face it gay's can be real bastards. To "wammt" I say fuck them you keep on being honest and being yourself. Bi isnt something I pretend to understand but each to his own. 1 2

Yes same here, although I guess I am lucky I still can get sexual with a woman as well, but I feel better with a very hot top or more in a gay sauna... sex with men just seems so much hotter and easier for me. I don't care what I am... being a hot fuckin' man, will do for me.
PumaParTyBeasT Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 I might have been like this when I first started thinking about being gay, but I don't really remember. I know that I had a friend who ended up being a lesbian who was in the same boat as me mentally and emotionally and we ended up helping each other out. Yeah, occasionally I do wonder what it would be like to fuck a female, but I never get hard from it so I just stick with males. It's that simple. That, and I like feeling cum in my ass and everything else that comes with fucking and getting fucked by a guy. ;-) 1
