hungry_hole Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 I have a question that I cannot ask to any regular health specialists. Covid-19 is contagious with nasal and mouth fluids getting into someone else's nose or mouth. But what about having sex using a gloryhole? I have a private gloryhole that I've used a lot, especially in the past. I used to be the only private gloryhole available in the area so I had a lot of traffic. I'm sure sucking a cock would not be recommended because the infection goes directly where it wants to go. But what about if I have a guy come in and only fuck me through the GH? Would I expose myself to Covid-19? Only my hole would be in contact and the GH serves as a shield against droplets. This is not a question I can ask to an expert on TV.
Opensesame Posted March 30, 2020 Report Posted March 30, 2020 Not a medical professional, but this info is derived from medical advice I’ve read: Any contact comes with risk. Despite the shield, The droplets from a heavily breathing orgasming guy could remain in the air in your house for a few hours at least, and possibly Land on surfaces And remain longer. It hasn’t been found in semen, but if it’s on his hands and he’s touched his cock then it will go directly to your mucous membranes. It has been found in feces. So if you have it, traces of virus could be in your rectum and infect him through his cock. 1
bbinbpark Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 There's a lot of issues with how the disease is spread. I am a medical professional and I think the scariest thing is not knowing if my coworkers/patients have it because it can be spread without showing signs. If you're paying attention to the media you'll know that there is a lot of concern over personal protective equipment shortages, and the term N95 is brought up a lot. An N95 is typically used in hospitals when a patient has, or is being ruled out for airborne diseases such as Tuberculosis or Varicella (chicken pox). The CDC and World Health Org say that healthcare workers need to use an N95 during certain scenarios with these patients (in all honesty it doesn't make sense) and the way we are supposed to protect ourselves indicates that the disease is very easy to pass. Long story short, a gloryhole is not going to protect you from this. 1 1 1
TotalPig Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 Sucking the cock of someone who don’t already live with is not social distancing, can spread the virus and shouldn’t be done.
tallslenderguy Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 We seem to have a consensus of opinion here, and i agree. i'm a critical care nurse and care for Covid and Covid rule out patients on my unit. As healthcare workers, we're concerned about the shortage of personal protective equipment (PPE) for those of us on the front line. But countries that have gotten a handle on Covid are extremely diligent about testing everyone and knowing who is positive quickly isolation. As bbinbpark notes, "it can be spread without showing signs." We do know it can be spread through droplet. There is varying and conflicting reports, but we know it can live on a surface for a little while at least. Consider this, at a GH, one has no idea who or how many have sucked that cock in the last 10 minutes. Also, how many guys will use their own spit (read: "droplets") to lube their cock to jack or fuck? Also some evidence that Covid can be shed and spread through feces... has the cock you are taking been in someones ass prior to you taking it? These are All credible/possible sources of infection... it would be nice, but i don't believe a glory hole confers immunity. Further studies are needed. 1 2
