Is it rude when people don't respond or is just my age showing

If I see a man using "bored" to describe himself, I won't engage with him. If you have a creative mind and some imagination, you're almost never bored. I've found that people who are bored are quite often a bad fit for me as there is seldom enough mind at work.

An interesting or creative man can feel a sense of ennui or world weariness. In fact, most creatives I know experience bouts of both.

They can. However, in my experience, they don't advertise or wallow in that ennui. Men who raise their own boredom as a thing for other men to vanquish are rarely the creatives you describe. They feel more ownership of their own internal state and don't relinquish it to others to modify for them.

Never shag an actor, then! 😂

Seriously, there is much merit in what you say.

Right?!  LOL.  I had to chuckle at this "boredom" comment because isn't it obvious?  If not, here's a good Rule:

How to kill a boner?

Step 1: say "I'm bored"

🙂
