At the bottom of my screen on my iPhone I have five icons. The fourth is “messages” - do you have that?

I have Forums, Unread, Notifications and More, nothing else

If you click on “more@, you’ll hopefully get an email icon towards the top left hand of your screen (I’m on a 12 Pro). If you get that and click on it, you should be able to put in the name of whom you’re trying to message- I hope! 😂

Hi, I click on more and get exactly the same options as when I click the “hamburger” icon in the top right, no email icon.

Hi RawTOP, nope nothing next to the bell. I assumed when I progressed from Junior Member to Member the option might appear but doesn’t look like that’s the case.

When I look at your account it says you've disabled your messenger. The option to enable it should be in Settings.

Just logged in as you to see what you see and you're right, it's not in Settings. On the desktop version there's a drop-down that lets you go into Messenger and tells you when you try it that it's disabled and asks if you want to re-enable it. BUT that isn't an option on small screens.

I've enabled it for you. If others are having the same issue, login on a computer and do it from there.

Hi RawTOP, thank you for doing that for me, I now have a messages icon. I did try doing “request desktop website” from within Safari but looks like the forum software still detects its a mobile environment and serves that up. Thanks again for your help.

There isn't actually a mobile version or a desktop version. The website is "responsive" which means the interface changes as you make your web browser narrower or wider. Which means a desktop computer can mimic a mobile experience, but a phone can't mimic a desktop experience.
