When religious right has power

This is what can happen when the religious right gets in power. They have an anti gay agenda.

It sucks ass, and not in the good way.

And besides it sucking one would think that in Eastern Europe my fellow Europeans would know what it feels to be deprived freedom.

But hey.... If they want to follow a gang of child molesting bastards (the Catholic Church), good luck.
I would wish that we could boot countries like Hungary and Poland out of the EU.

Its important to realize that the religious right is neither right nor spiritual but rather a power hungry horde desperate for power and control. The Catholic leadership wants to keep its status. Control of male sexuality has been a tool of the Catholic church forever 

I cannot believe the Catholic Church any better than any regular mafia or organized crime venture. 

Why else do they cover up genocidaire priests from Rwanda, child molesters,  and the crimes of Mother Theresa. They even molest the Bible (see the film 1946) to change the wording of "Man shall not lie with boy as he does with woman" into "Man shall not lie with man as he does with man."

It's all power grabs. Look at how many pastors chose tithe money over their parishoners health during covid.

Yea but let’s not forget that the Catholic Church are a bunch of fucking nazi virgins!! And if they loose their virginity it’s usually to some kids that they’re supposed to care for. If fascists in Poland and Hungary want to engage in time travel so that the days of hating the people happily under the rainbow flag are back to the norm. The E.U. Should make a point of what Values are necessary and required in order to be a member state. Also, this won’t bring people back to thei Catholic cult either, the deserve to be forgotten in history anyway. But so long as people fear death they’ll be showing up for Sunday fairy tales.

So what was the reason for religions to condemn gay sex, for the first 1,950 years when referring to christianity, and longer than that in Judaism?
