Who Do You Think Makes More Money? Bottoms or Tops?

Just wondering what people think... On average, who do you think makes more money - bottoms or tops? I can see tops being more assertive in their professional lives, but then again I've seen some bottoms do quite well in corporate America.

This question is probably best answered by versatile guys. I've been to a lot of bottoms' apartments and seen how they live, but can't say I've been to many tops' apartments. New York is expensive and by and large the bottoms I fuck seem to be doing OK, but not all that great. In fact some of them really aren't doing well financially at all - they're in sorta run down, small apartments (which in NY can still cost $1000/month). Of course there are exceptions - a few seem to be doing quite well. But I happen to know that the one who seemed to be doing the best actually got himself in a huge financial hole. So financial looks can be deceiving.

So if you had to guess - which do better financially, on average - tops or bottoms?

I would say it's probably an even mix. Tops tend to have more confidence and assertiveness, so they are more likely to push for raises/promotions/better jobs and make more money. A lot of bottoms know how to read people and give them what they want, and that can lead to success as well. I was a houseboy for a 100% top who was a multi-millionaire (worked in stocks/Wall Street before retiring); the personality traits that made him a good top also made him rich. I've known a few total bottoms who made a lot of money, most notably a Real Estate agent, really knew how to make a client feel special and give them the best service possible. I don't think it's a matter of top or bottom, I think it's finding a career that plays to your strengths. However, I do feel tops tend to view themselves as providers in a relationship, so they really push to make money, while a lot of bottoms are content to just get by.

As far as bottoms are concerned I also think what kind of bottom might make a difference. I am pretty much an aggressive bottom. Nothing I like more than getting a boy hard then milking his balls dry...whether he likes it or not, heh. I have met a few other aggressive bottoms in my time and we have a very different attitude about taking cock. I think the attitude difference might matter in our personal and financial lives too.

It's an interesting one. When i was mainly top... I had a very passive job.. but then when i got into business analysis, BDM, and business development, and had a lot of responsibility, I was earning a SHIT load of money... and became bottom sexually.... now i have a middle of the road job, which pays me more than enough for a nice life, and i bottom because i enjoy it, i top occasionally when the mood takes my fancy.

I dont think there's any correlation at all between what one does for a living/earning potential, and ones sexual role.

I doubt there's much connection, been with top guys who were pretty well off, and ones who were living in places barely above student house standard

Although, I hope it's the bottoms who make more, so when I graduate I end up earning loads, preferably for not doing a whole lot

both make the same in porn. i work in the business. sometimes a top can't get it up or can't stay hard... other times a bottom is too tight or can't get REALLY fucked.

there is no shortage of EITHER but when you want a look like MASCULINE TOP and MASCULINE BOTTOM this becomes a challenge and if you are overseas...even worst. In Dominican Republic all the tops were Macho but the bottoms REALLY QUEENY while in Cuba almost everyone was a bottom and wanted to flip flop.

I doubt there is much of a correlation either. Regards assertiveness, I always remember being told by a sub bottom that the bottom is in charge even if he lets the top think he is! All types can make money if they know how to use their talents wisely. And all types can be happy to muddle along and just fuck their way through life...

as a wage slave in the 'normal' world, i doubt there is much difference.

in porn or prostitution, I think a good top would earn way more than a good bottom. They're in greater demand as a commodity.

I doubt that there is any direct connection between sexual position and the amount of income earned. If anything, I'd give the edge to the bottoms. There are so many of us compared to the number of Tops that we have to market ourselves more aggressively so we catch the attention of the stud we want. At the baths, it can get very competitive.

Developing self marketing skills will certainly help bottoms in the business world.

But, I'm sure there are Tops and bottoms at all levels of the income spectrum.
