I'm wondering what will happen if they start charging to post or access the porn.

Half of Twitter is porn so if EM starts charging, there will be no content engagement.

 

I only use Twitter to view porn. But I have noticed I am bombarded with politics, random news and EM tweets.

 

Its impossible to filter out the political news nonsense to get to the porn.

Add to that, I see most of the porn content creators are now retweeting DNC and other democrat items of interest to gays and other minority communities instead of posting new porn. 🤔

I see my comment as being polite, diplomatic, and worded in such a way that could be open for civil debate do to the initial vagueness. Either way, I send you good energy 🙂

I'd like to think that anything can either be cured when the body's in-built healing mechanism that is broken and/or poisoned causing chronic dis-ease is fixed via detoxification alongside nourishment to fix any deficiencies. Yes, I did. You asked a question suggesting that the topic of discussion didn't exist, then followed it up with a screed against the veracity of human discourse in general. @viking8x6, very unfortunately you have completely misconstrued all of what I said. I am confident you won't believe me, but it is the truth. If we sat down face to face and had a proper civil discussion you would realise everything I said was with actual meaningful reason and not ''nihilistic'' as you interpreted. It is okay to misinterpret something online as there are no facial expressions, tone of voice or body language to help with the flow. All of what I said pertains to what I have learned these last few years which is not in the public domain at large. Also different life experiences give rise to differences in perceptions. You clearly are an extremely clever and very well educated man as you used multiple words that I had never heard of before which is great as we are never too old to learn, right. One of which was ''curmudgeonly'' which I got ''bad-tempered'' as a definition, well, you got that right, so thank you for being honest on that front. I am with admiration when someone admits they have flaws, after-all we all have them. Even though I did not know the meaning of multiple words you used in your reply the hostile tone caused immediate tachycardia and shaking, but that is the consequence of having a severe neurological illness (my defences are down) and being an empath. Empaths pick up on the slightest thing. Oh that note, it is time to take another break from this site. My health comes first thus cannot afford any upset to my already compromised system. I sincerely wish you well despite the horrid misunderstanding.

Precisely the point I was attempting to make. Your statements were made based on information unavailable to me, therefore I cannot understand their point or applicability to the topic we were discussing. If you had shared some of that information, I likely wouldn't have reacted the way I did.

My apologies for having caused you stress. I did not intend any hostility to you. As you correctly pointed out, tone does not come across well in online discussions.

What @TaKinGDeePanal is referring to as not “curable” is autism, which is not something one can cure because it isn’t a malady. The notion that an autistic person can be made not autistic through “detoxification” and specific nourishment would be hilarious if people hadn’t actually tried to do exactly that to autistic children in previous decades, with all manner of dubious diets, snake-oil supplements, and other horrific dietary interventions that made their lives hell because it was wrongheaded and did the children no good whatsoever.

You’d like to think anything can be cured with detoxification and nourishment? I’m sure all the people working to find a cure for HIV will be astonished to learn that it’s that simple.

Yeah, everyone knows to “cure” autism you need Elvis and a Nun - specifically Mary Tyler Moore. 😁

I kid, I kid. I’m somewhere on the spectrum myself and have been getting treatment for my ADHD-i for about 13 years now. Some days the meds work, some days they don’t. 🤷‍♂️

Regarding Twitter I don’t like the changes Musk has been making, and the message he’s been amplifying, but as I said before he offered to buy it, Twitter is a private company and can make its own decisions on content moderation. If Musk wants to ban first, then make up TOS policy to justify it afterwards, he can. But without someone to step in and put the brakes on, as happens at Tesla and SpaceX when Musk goes off on a tangent, Twitter could downgrade itself into another Parler-type space. It will take longer than most people think because there is institutional inertia, and media as well as brands may not want to give up the platform quickly, but toxic as Twitter has often been, the last two months has really ratcheted it up.

And a tip for Musk: you don’t magically reduce hate speech on Twitter by redefine hate speech. 🤣
