Not a chaser - not on PrEP?

I acknowledge this is anecdote and not data. I was on prep for several years. During that time, I routinely hooked up with guys from apps and Craigslist without discussing status. I visited bathhouses in Dallas and backrooms in New Orleans taking every load I was offered multiple times. I did not seek out toxic tops,  but I am sure I must have taken some toxic loads. I am still negative.

To piggy back on this post, i too have had similar experiences. I've participated in high risk activity while on prep (Houston, FLL, and Vegas bathhouses taking all loads that were offered from some real characters). I've contracted plenty of STDs but always managed to stay HIV negative.

this is, as said before, anecdotal of course--but feels relevant.

Tangentially related to this post: does anyone know if there is a place where we can discuss the appeal of consciously choosing not to use prep but still having raw sex? I'm not talking about bug chasing.

It is probably best to keep that in the Bug Chasing/Gifting forum, because it's very likely that members into those things will mention them in the topic.

If you want to start a topic that's explicitly NOT about bug chasing (per your comment here), it can go in the General Discussion forum. If you do this, please make it VERY CLEAR in your opening post what the focus of the discussion should be.
