Can A Guy’s Voice Turn You Off?

I suppose if the voice of a guy you fancy is annoying, you can always gag him…

Seriously, I agree with most of what has been said already. It’s particularly disappointing when the audio output doesn’t match the visuals.

Although, as someone has already said, the flip side is that a guy’s voice can also be a real turn on. Myself, as a Brit, I’m a sucker (in every sense) for an American accent.

And on the opposite side of things, you can also talk to someone over the phone with a beautiful voice, and then you meet them in person and the looks just don't match the image you've built of them, based on their voice... That can be even more disappointing.

And as someone who has spent time in the UK… I’m a sucker for the Brits… whether it’s RP, Cockney or Brummie and my mood. 🙂

Oh it absolutely can. Happened to me recently. Hooked up with a guy on Grindr. Attractive guy, a top. He comes over- attractive like in his pics… then he opens his mouth…

Just picture this- Fran Drescher but in a man’s voice.

I still let him fuck me and of course, he had to be a vocal top. The fuck would have been good if I didn’t have to hear his voice. I have never been in a situation before that where I’ve so badly wanted to say “could you please just stop talking and just fuck me?”

Needless to say, we never met again.

I’m with you on that. American here but I find the British accent to be very hot.

I think accents in general all have their own hotness to them. I’ve hooked up with guys with many different accents- English, French, Italian, Spanish (both Spain and Latin American Spanish), German, Russian, Japanese… all had their way of making my dick twitch.

But the one that takes the cake… Recently I hooked up with an Australian guy for the first time and his accent alone could almost make me cum. The way he kept moaning “fuck yeah mate” as I was pounding him was heaven.

That’s interesting because over here the Brummie accent is often voted the least attractive. I don’t mind it at all, although I’ve reached the age where all I can ask is that he can stand unaided and has most of his own teeth. So the accent is negotiable!

I’m in New York next month, so I’m intrigued by what effect my (slightly northern) British accent will have.

Hilarious thread. And yeah, me too.

i can only recall it ever happening once. Guy chatted me up online and "sounded" very Top to me, wanting to fuck me on His stairs because He could wait to get all the way up the bedroom lol.  When i got there, He had a sorta whiney voice and his attempts at being 'verbal' felt like the porn imitations others note.  It's probably that more than even his voice that turned me off, i hate 'role play' and always wanna connect to a Mans real, visceral need/lust to fuck. Which was there, just hidden behind his voice. Funny though, while it was a turn off for me, i did go back and receive his cock one more time after... but after that, i couldn't bring myself to do it.

Volume can also be an issue. I played with a very cute Irish guy a couple of years back. But as he’s very deaf, he was loud. Very loud. Window shattering/floorboard vibrating loud. And that was before he reached his climax. I recall being a tad distracted, fearing what the neighbours must be thinking. But he was so lovely and well-endowed that I thought “fuck it, let them listen”.

I haven't yet been put off by the way someone speaks but close to it. Once I was involved in a threeway and I was keeping my mouth busy on my mate while he was being fucked. The Top doing the fucking was getting close and literally started howling. I couldn't help it and just burst out laughing. Definite mood killer. Things hastily wrapped up after that.

Great.  Now I'm worried that my nasal, flat, Western-NY-flavored-by-upper-Midwest-with-a-touch-of-living-in-the-South accent has turned anyone off.  😬

I've learned to never judge a song by the singer.  One time I snagged an online trick that checked all my boxes.  He was about 60, a tall bear with a big belly, and a 8.5" uncut cock with a heavy, wet, cheesy foreskin (It don't go down easy if it ain't cheesy!).   When I got to his door and he greeted me, the voice was 100% Paul Lynde.  He was one of the best fucks of my life.  It helps that I'm a big Paul Lynde fan.

Basically, it depended on my mood. Brummie was when I was in  the mood for a bad boy. Plus, I was I’n my Peaky Blinders phase. 😀

A guy voice has never made me not share in some fun with them but it can definitely effect the mood of any hook up that I have had.

One that sticks out was a muscle bear pig that had high pitched voice that didn't match the look at all. Didn't stop me fucking him and breeding his ass but I was expecting a more deep gruff voice than what I got from this guy.

The Brummie accent has never been a turn off for me. And I’ve not even seen the show…😂
