Kind of amazing that I have managed to avoid them since the first and only time I had them when I was like 18. Funny thing is I had a bf at the time and I got them from a friend who borrowed a sweatshirt. So I didn’t get them from sex but I gave them to my bf anyway and had to get all kinds of receipts for him to not think i had cheated .

Correction I actually got them twice the second time was the usual way lol

I've had them 3 or 4 times in 18 years of fucking, but never had a hard time getting rid of them even without shaving. It takes the eggs 7-10 days to hatch, but it takes the nymphs 2-3 weeks to reach sexual maturity. So I did the initial treatment with the lice shampoo and washed all my bedding, and then 10 days later did it again. Any eggs should have hatched by that point, but none of them should be producing more eggs yet. I feel like I'm missing something, I don't know why this isn't the official way to get rid of them. But it's worked for me.
