Yeah if you are seeing white little dots on your tongue or on any part of your mouth, an antibiotic wash might help.....to an extent.  If it gets to the point where you are in pain and you can't swallow whole food, call your doctor. Granted this is a bad time of the year to try to get ahold of anyone who supplies you medical care, but there should be an "on-call" doctor.  I wouldn't jump the gun and call it thrush,  unless you are poz already or have full blown AIDS.

It is certainly possible to get candidiasis (thrush) even if you don't have HIV/AIDS, but it's unlikely unless your (immune) system is out of whack. Antibiotics of the usual sort (antibacterials) won't do anything against it, because it's yeast. It could certainly also be some kind of bacterial infection that isn't severe enough to cause a sore or other symptom - either STD or otherwise. Oral hygiene is your friend.

With a symptom such as this that isn't one of the "usual" symptoms of the common STDs, your chances of getting useful information about it from an internet discussion forum are very, very low. If it continues/worsens, see a doctor! That's what they're for.

Don’t rule out COVID. Lesser-known effects on the tongue are nonetheless recognized enough to be referred to as ‘COVID Tongue’, and may present with symptoms similar to what you describe. Do a search on the term and see if it checks any boxes for you. If so, I recommend getting tested as soon as possible.
