I was there last year after fetish week and it was kind of empty, but did find Nixon, a new bar.  They cater for the fetish guys like piss and bare, even poz evenings.  You may An entrance fee of 10 EUR but the beer is for free, and the action is hot.  Did Rent a bungalow for 70 EUR in a small park with 4 bungalows wit a sundeck and swimming pool all gay

Resurrecting this post as I am looking to book my annual Euro summer holiday and GC is on the cards this year (2025).

I've been once before, but it was during the height of the Mpox outbreak in 2022 and prior the vaccines being rolled out. Hence, I feel I didn't get the full GC experience as people were understandably being cautious. This time I'm ready to let loose entirely and take as many loads as possible in the bars, beaches and gay resorts!

I'm wondering whether I should go towards the end of July or wait until the fetish pride week in early October? No doubt the volume of people on the island during fetish week will be higher and the bars/clubs busier - but what is it like toward the end of July? Are the resorts still busy? October just feels too far away right now, but if fetish week is a MUST do event, I am willing to hold out 🙂

If you want crowds you should travel during a scheduled event (Pride of some sort) or New Years. Outside of those you could go between October and April for decent size crowds. I believe May (after Pride) until October is the low season with the least crowds though it’s not going to be empty either.

Hey @Dexus. I’m in the same boat: have been to GC before but didn’t get the full experience due to the people I travelled with.

I’ve been looking at the fetish week, however discovered they have a FF club all year round so now tempted to go earlier.

A friend that goes each year told me that the 2-3 weeks after pride are often still pretty busy. Of course not as much as the pride weeks and there’s no guarantee. 
I’ve heard July (any of the summer months) are quieter, not empty… but generally more tame!

Do you know where you’d stay? I’ve been looking at Aqua bungalows and club torso.

I previously stayed in villas blancas. It’s nice but a little further out.
