This so-called policy of mass deportation is rubbish and needs to be called out for what it is.

Its racist, it makes no economic sense and will be impossible to implement.

Just like the wall that the Mexicans were going to pay for.  Just bull-shit.

Who is their right mind would vote for a policy that:-

1. Removes potentially 10 - 11 million consumers from the US economy

2. Removes potentially 10 - 11 million who are at the moment, largely, self-supporting; they're not on Government benefits except at the margins

3. Removes potentially 10- 11 million aspiring citizens, maybe 4 - 5 million who presently work, some paying taxes, carrying out many menial but necessary jobs (think picking the seasonal vegetable & fruit crops - who's going to do all that if they're gone?).  Document them and make them citizens and they all pay tax.  Importantly, they are the economic aspirants to middle-class life, and therefore will earn more and spend more.

4. Incurs massive costs to the Budget to construct and run concentration camps across the US to hold the deportees.  And to fund ICE in the pursuit of the deportees - think Nazi Germany from the 1930's-on.  And guess what? The faster the camps are filled and people (lets not forget that word) deported - the economic benefits (see 1 - 3 above) reduce.

You get the idea.  The policy is a big net economic negative, before humanity is even considered.

Growing economies need more workers and consumers, not less.  If you want to achieve something like a net economic positive, then deport 10 -11 million senior citizens!

My last point is that logistically the Trump policy is IMPOSSIBLE to implement.

If Trump has 48 month term, and get's going fast, and has, say, 40 months to achieve his deportation (ethnic cleansing) that means the rate of deportation must be minimum 250,000 per month (assuming 10 million).  There are not enough ships and planes available to move that many people.

In 1945 the US Government brought 4 million US troops home for Christmas.  That required most of the transport resources of the US Military, built up over 4 years of war.  A massive undertaking.  And these folk came home to marching-band receptions.  Consider the "homecoming" reception for the 10 - 11 million of Trump's deportees.  No marching bands for them.  Maybe bullets instead.

So this Trump policy should be called for what it is, BULLSHIT.

Hopefully the genuine American voters will see through the bullshit and not vote for it, or those of low-character who promote it.  Their policies reflect back on them.

I agree with point #4.

Interesting viewpoint as an Australian. I respect it. But I'm curious to know how its racist. Yes, I'm being intentionally obtuse and assuming you're white.

Also I see you used the terms asiping citizen and genuine American. I would love to know what those mean as each sounds vague to me.

Apologies for the typo, the word was meant to be “aspiring”.

Given the majority of the 10 - 11 million targeted with this policy are non-whites, the policy is by its nature racist.

@Knotme I'm curious what Australia's immigration policies are. The reason being Trump and his MAGA movement hold up Australia's quotas and age limits on legal immigration as the model the US should be aspiring to. So my assumption, based solely on what the MAGA have promoted is that it is extremely limited, but I have no trust in MAGA what so ever.

Indeed and I feel for the MAGA faithful as, much like the followers of any cult, they are being lead astray.  I hope for the best for them as they find their way out of that cult when it inevitably ends.

Restrictive, to say the least.

Partner visas were taking up to 15 years to be approved - and a lot of members here would be denied permanent residency visas, as Australia prohibits anyone with HIV from immigrating, even if they are a child or parent or spouse of a citizen.

Australia also naturally assumes that anyone who wants to migrate only does so for the economic benefits. You basically have to run a gamut of crap to even have someone look at your application - and the system is full of fraudulent "immigration specialists" who are only too glad to take your money then sit on their asses.

Not to mention America is the literal reason a large swath of South America is left in the state it is in socio-economically and it was by design.

A quick history check will show how we not only supported but actively installed governments that would be hyper capitalistic hellscapes that would also benefit the USA while assuring no popular workers movement could ever gain a foot hold.  Supporting Pinochet in Chile, Instigating and funding civil war in Nicuragua, funding oligarchs and a government actively trying to keep the working class of  El Salvador illiterate and destitute via funding Civil War at the tube of $1-$2 million per day....oh and let's not forget the fucking 25 times the USA had initiated a coup in Guatemala because people wanted to have a day off and maybe just a tiny bit of workers rights instead of, you know, work until their deaths for Dole Fruits.

A quick history check

This will garner a lot of downvotes, but ....

A less-quick history check will demonstrate that the Spanish invasion of South America, bringing with them their R.C. bent, forcing the conquered people to convert at gunpoint, (along with the strict prohibition against any form of contraception, enshrined in official RC Policy in 1930), has led to the overpopulation of the South American continent.  Yet, Spain only sucked the riches out of the continent, and did rather little to invest in the inhabitants and their well-being.  There were other European nations that did the same, of course, but Spain sowed the seeds (pardon the pun) for todays masses of desperate people trying to eke out some measure of quality in their lives.

Desperate people tend to do desperate things to avoid starvation and stay alive.  For instance, leave their miseries behind, and try to escape to that (you all simply must forgive this one) Shining City upon a Hill.*

*first and last (I promise) RR quote my fingers will ever type.

The mass deportations aren't gonna happen. First off, the public at large won't support it, just the most rabid subset of the MAGA cult. But more importantly, we don't have the infrastructure for it. We can't move that many people, that fast.

This is just more dog whistling that unfortunately is going to garner a lot of votes from our poorly educated electorate. Trump never did a damn thing for them, he just hates the same brown people they hate. He's giving them a scapegoat for the state their lives are in. That's the only reason he picked Vance, a couch fucker from Appalachia.

It won't be very successful, beyond guaranteeing votes from the rabidly xenophobic base, but it will engender plenty of violence and create excuses for escalating authoritarianism.

You might know the answer to this (as I don't - and I can't find it anywhere).

When I was in Guatemala (married to a smokeshow of a hot slutwife) in 2013/14, the license plates had 1954 on them. I'm aware that the overrated do-nothing of a POTUS at that time authorised and orchestrated the coup there. Is the reference to that year a constant reminder that the US has never - to say the least - had that country's best interests at heart (despite the fact that USD is accepted alongside GTQ)?

I live in an area of lots of Mexican and Central American immigrants due to all the agricultural activities here. We will all starve if these workers aren’t here doing that shitty kind of work that us Americans would not do. They’re all hard workers in my opinion. They give as much as they might take. Now, of course, in other locations  the immigrants might not be as hardworking and strain the public welfare system. All I know is that around where I’m at they’re sexy men, fit, handsome, and I’ve had some hot sex with them. I speak Spanish so it’s pretty hot meeting up with these hard working studs, who just need to get off cause their gf or wives are back home in Mexico or wherever else.  The hottest guys are Venezuelan. I’d hate for them to get mass deported. They’re such hot fuckers.
