Porn Paid or Free Poll

Missed this poll when it was open.  I primarily view free sources, though I have paid for porn magazines, video rentals, and video booth viewing before pornography on the internet was readily available for free viewing pleasure.

So we are not allowed to vote?  Hmmm, interesting the thread is still visible.  I've been criticized about my use of a certain file sharing program, but for Christmas someone gave me a Sony CD/DVD player that I have in my living room.  I play alot of dance music from the early 2000s (when you could actually understand the lyrics), I have over 2000 iTunes downloaded as well as maybe 250 CDs of dance music.  I had some disposable income back then so I spent alot of it on music.

But as for porn, I had this file sharing program (which I won't mention so I won't get in trouble with the moderators) but it has allowed me to download so many recent, and not so recent movies.  Sometimes you only get a portion, and there are studios that will try and prosecute you IF they can get your IP address.  I have all sorts of malware protection and of course a VPN.  But now, with my new Christmas gift I am going over to Paul Morris, T.I.M, and actually buying CD's as I noticed they are becoming less available and now most studios want you to buy "gigs" or "downloads".  I'll take my porn on DVD anyday, I can always back it in my "trick bag" and share it with some FWBs.  Plus during Christmas I believe T.I.M or Paul Morris was selling 3 videos for $30.00. Sure they were older releases but still just as sleazy.

It never fails to amaze me how far porn has come (not cum).  I am old enough to remember when there used to be plots, and models actually had scripts, the sex seems like what I had in high school or early years of college.  Now todays' stuff, with eight guys fucking one bottom and all the DPs you see, porn has changed. I wanna spend some money on the new releases and sit back and laugh at what I have from the 90s.  Truly a different world!

this! but also i'm old enough to know it didn't use to be a choice. you can only get so far sneaking peaks at your older bother's porn mags. as an adult you had to buy your own videos. even walking up to the cash register with a gay porn mag was a right of passage. and that was a huge upgrade from having to pay to enter a porn theater. i still shudder remembering the experience 😜

When polls are created, I *believe* that the creator specifies how long it's open for voting (and there's a default that kicks in otherwise). When a poll closes, it doesn't disappear (because people may wish to see the results, and they may wish to discuss those results).

I remember those days well! As kids we’d find discarded magazines and even look at the underwear pages in clothes catalogues! It got easier for me as a friend would travel to Amsterdam frequently and bring videos back to the UK. ‘The best of kinky anal’ was a particular favourite of mine!

I’m not sure what the issue really is, but I agree with a lot of of the sentiment because it feels like Springsteen’s 500 channels and there is nothing on. I subscribe to Tim, but agree it has gotten less exciting; I subscribe to RFC, but rarely watch; I subscribe to AEBN, and I’m just accumulating millions of minutes; and I subscribe to Faphouse, just to get longer Xhamster vids. I’ve done JFF and Onlyfans, but finding people you want to follow is a pain, especially on Onlyfans and you have to do hours of X in hopes of finding someone to follow. I end to search for Amateur video that makes you imagine you are watching a real date and some of it is on Bareback Bastards, ManyVids and ThisVid, but those companies seem to be running on autopilot (nobody replies on signup problems). I’m finding I’m watching way too much, but not getting turned on by it (though I would love to be the guy that looks like Daniel Radcliffe in the XVideo After Party video wow looks completely spun and completely in bliss in that video.

Now that I’ve gotten that out of the way, the problem with porn is hat it feel like TV and it has a lot of guardrails in place so no one gets arrested and frankly most dates are more exciting than what’s in porn now. Pornhub basically put a lot of studios out of business, but found it had to clean up its act to get paid by the credit card companies and even now states are banning porn. Onlyfans and JFF are less regulated and we’re producing leading edge content,  but content creators aren’t getting paid and Onlyfans keeps going back and forth onthe type of company it wants to be. X has been showing a lot of X content as content creators seek new fans, but they are mostly wavering under Musk’s lack of oversight. The head of (non-porn) content production got laughed out of CES as Mark Cuban described X as Pornhub to a room of potential advertisers. We’ve got four more years of this as the rightwingers  try to eliminate porn completely and the left tries to ensure illicit activity does not go on (Pornhub wiped out a lot of videos that were illegal sex tapes, hidden cams, drug use on cam, and probably some blackmail tapes) after lawsuits and efforts to make nice with the credit card companies.

We’re left with Brett Tyler mugging for the camera, a lot of twinks and some fun video that gets banned as soon as someone complains that it has content that isn’t permitted. I don’t want to watch myself in videos, but it is bad when your own dates are hotter than porn. I just find it takes forever to get off on porn (an 8-12 hour date will get you off more times in a night than most porn) and I’m ever thankful for BreedingZone and the Chemsex fiction on here. I spend more Time on my iPad with BZ than with the 8 TVs I hung in every room.

My apologies for the rant, but I work in advertising and I’ve been complaining about content production since there were three networks and hoping the proliferation of vendors would lead to anything worth watching.

I'm gonna date myself now. The only thing I ever shoplifted was porn magazines. In my hometown (Champaign, IL) there was a bookstore across the street from the bus stop going home. I used to go in there all the time waiting for the bus home. That was when I discovered Honcho (THE BEST), Mandate, Blueboy, Playguy, etc. This would've been around 1979. I was 15. I would shoplift them, until I finally clocked the owner of the bookstore was gay (the other owner was I think his sister). He sold them to me no questions. They were only $1.95. I wish I still had all those old Honcho magazines!  That's where I discovered that I really preferred stories to pictures. 

My problem with most porn these days is that no one is having any fun. They usually look bored. My favorite porn guy is Joel Someone because he's sexy as fuck and ALWAYS looks like he's having fun. He made a fun video with King Dwarf (I also dig short guys) where they're both laughing and having a blast. To me that's super sexy.
