I've been traveling, and was lucky enough to arrange to have an overnight in Palm Springs Sunday night, I didn't even know that they were celebrating Pride this weekend until I showed up at Club 541 and found the line shaking through the parking lot. When I came up for air after that initial activity, I realized there were 3 familiar faces I knew from Portland bathhouses in the club. Good for you. Although you seem to have more sex than me, I did your relaxed attitude toward it in all these posts. It’s a breath of fresh air in the increasingly, female influenced hypergamy if the gay hookup scene.

I can't say that I comprehend it, and have no idea on whether it is cultural conditioning or a true lack of biological urge, but they do seem to be repulsed by the concept of uninhibited casual sex.

In Portland the fuck venues actually encourage them, I assume because the population of uninhibited pigs is so small they wouldn't be able to stay in business without them, but why would they go to a fuck venue in Palm Springs that is completely geared towards guys like us? There are venues in Palm Springs where they may not fit in as well as they do in Portland, but would certainly be a more comfortable situation for them than can be found at 541, CCBC or Barracks before it closed, I've seen guys like this at all 3. Who knows maybe it was their 1st time there and they will never go back, or maybe they really do believe for whatever reason they should lead us by example to their preferred heteronormative view on sex.
