tallslenderguy Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM Report Posted yesterday at 11:37 AM (edited) So much for "America First" lamo. Couldn't bring herself to honestly and clearly state "other Americans" are going to be hurt... they're simply "not going to be advantaged." Murkowski after selling out the country for self interest: “Do I like this bill? No. But I tried to take care of Alaska’s interests.” " Do I like this bill? No. I tried to take care of Alaska’s interests, but I know that in many parts of the country there are Americans that are not going to be advantaged by this bill. I don’t like that,” she explained. “I don’t like the fact that we moved through an artificial deadline, artificial timelines to produce something to meet a deadline, rather than to actually try to produce the best bill for the country. hntnhole Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM Report Posted yesterday at 07:26 PM Actually, I was quite surprised by that statement. While it seems there isn't one intact vertebra in the collective spines of the Congressional R's, at least she gave her "reasons", tainted with a heavy-helping of phony-baloney. She may not like this, she may not like that, but Congress operates on the basis of achieving consensus, or some measure of it. It's crystalline that the Congressional R's are even more terrified of the Panderer-in-Chief than they are of their own constituents, and they seem to believe that those constituents have memories that only last momentarily. Now that the puddle of shit has landed squarely in the Boy Blunder's lap, at least there should be a bit of comedic relief. I'm anticipating a tsunamic wave come the Midterms. 2 Quote
BlueSaphir Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago The long stare to the reporter is beyond priceless. I look at her like she a complete nut job. You say it a terrible bill…WHY did she vote yes for it!? I really hope Alaskans show her the door when her term is up. 2 Quote
BlindRawFucker1 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Since it has now been passed by the House, I wonder what she will say now? She can’t complain when Alaska is hit by the cuts that she didn’t “supposedly” like. 2 Quote
