What's the name of the first gay bar you ever visited - and where was it?

I was 16 and got into a gay bar in Washington, DC.  That was my first!  I don't remember the name of the bar, but later on that evening I got taken to Cinema Follies, a gay movie theatre around the corner from the bar.  It was on the second floor of the building.  I fucked some guy while we were standing up while guys standing nearby watched and cheered us on.  It was really darkly illuminated.  I remember someone telling the guy to clean off my cock after I came and pulled out.  And he did.  Sadly, I believe it was like the next day, the theatre caught fire and killed several guys who were trapped upstairs in the theatre.

I think it was called "The Roadhouse", on Hudson Street, a couple of blocks north of Christopher St.  And it was probably 50 years ago.

The Laird, in Melbourne 🇦🇺. Haven't been for years but, it used to be a really great place to drink with friends, for pickups, accommodation, & varied entertainment, BBBQ's, Beer Busts. Now it's too far to use a taxi, so no recent visits.

The End Up in San Francisco for Tea Dance. I had only just started drinking (legally 😜). I went to the bar and ordered a drink. I mixed up my East Coast cities when I ordered, as I wondered what the bartender was making. I ordered a Long Island instead of a Cape Cod. I nursed that Long Island the whole time we were there, and didn't even finish it! 🤣

ETA: Technically, I probably went to B Street in San Mateo first (it was closer), but I don't have any memorable stories about B Street.

A little bar in downtown Clearwater Florida called the Pro Shop. This would have been back in the mid 1980’s. I would have been in my early 20’s because I didn’t start drinking until after I turned 21. It’s a little hole in the wall, but it was like home for many years.

The Gold Coast in Chicago. I was still under age, but a group I was traveling with took me anyway. Nobody in the club cared about my age either. This was around '84 or so.
