You make an interesting point; businesses  are trying to survive.  Having a “one size fits all” venue makes more business sense, but as NWUSHorny  indicates, (and I second), it can be frustrating to go to a fuck joint where actual fucking has been relegated to a less common activity.  
 

Sometimes it takes the extra effort and resources to find places where fucking is still a “main offering on the menu.”  In my experience, places where old-school guys live and visit, such as Palm Springs and Fort Lauderdale in this country, have such offerings.

Seems that way to me too. i haven't tried the BHouses in Pdx since before covid, and even then, it was getting progressively slower when it comes to fucking. There's a couple of ABS where i live, and when i'd go to them, i could get 4-6 horny guys fucking me in a short period of time, no one hour drive. If i want more, i go to Palm Springs or Lauderdale, and agree, much easier to find guys who wanna fuck in both those places. i'm in a small town, so i feel really fortunate to have a FB who seems to want to breed almost daily. He even calls me when i'm at work, so i we seem to  be in a symbiotic situation, which helps keep me from being desperate lol

FWIW despite misinterpretations of my point I stand firmly in the camp of more assfucking :-), better luck for me at saunas and sex clubs than at ABSs but I’ve definitely added them to the repertoire and looking forward to finding more raw fun there

You actually missed the best year in at least the last 19 that I've lived there. From May 2021 when Steam reopened until July 2022 when monkey pox hit was the best I've ever seen it. Things had pretty much reverted to the norm by the time Hawks reopened in the new location Sept. 2022. I don't really know how describe the current state at Hawks, they have leaned so far into the fetishes and all genders stuff, that I'm not sure it is fair to classify them as a gay bathhouse.
