Knightfalconer Posted February 18 Report Posted February 18 Anyone else getting a bizarre screen (bright white with large black text) come up whilst on this site, referring to 'Error 500' and saying there are 'too many connections' to the site? I don't do IT so have no idea about this. It started about 24-36 hours ago (its 11:00 GMT now). Its happened about six times and I've been able to 'back arrow' to the previous page I was on, except for just now when the screen appeared repeatedly (five or six times), before my main google/firefox screen appeared. I went straight back in again and tried to search 'Error 500' on the site, but the result was to get the error screen again? It seemed so odd. When I googled to ask if the site was 'up' or not, instead of many returns, I hardly got any (they said the site was up), which was also odd. So much so, that I wondered if someone had launched a cyber attack on the site or it was some attempt to ID memebers? Given the theme of the site, its always a possibility. I just tried my on site search again (so I could post a copy of the screen message with this post) but it failed to appear this time. If it appears in the future, I'll be sure to take a screenprint and add it here. Is anyone else getting this issue or is it my laptop? Quote

Hence I used the 'back' button to take me to the last genuine page of the website that I was on. I've only encountered the screen one today. jtgirl2022 Posted 9 hours ago Report Posted 9 hours ago I'm not sure if it is related to the number of users online, or if something was changed on the site setup, but these error pages keep appearing and seem to be getting more frequent. Sometimes you have to refresh or hit "try again" multiple times now to get past them. Quote
