Everybody knows the 1-10 scale, with 1 being a heinous troll and 10 a total god. There are guys that enjoy the chase and won't do anything below 8.5 . On the other hand the mark of the total slut is that they will do anything from 1 to 10, even if they're 9s themselves. Then there are normal normal guys that fuck around in their number range, lazy fuckers that usually date below their league because it's easy or picky ones who try to score above their league... and so on. So it does tell something about you and who you're compatible with.

E.g.: I myself am a normal, somewhat hot (an 8 maybe?) guy, and will fuck guys from 5-10, from average nice guys to supermodels.

For the sake of chiming in...I'd say I'm about an 8-8.5 when I'm all "polished". I'd say I typically go for 3-9.5. Depending on the details, if I'm prowling, I usually prefer 4-8.5 and go progressively lower for specific activities or last resorts. I go progressively higher just for the sheer sake of physical attraction...I wanna get mounted and bred by "real studs", so my primal side naturally seeks the best stock and breed of Top Man. But I also admit, the higher the number and the more "stud-like", the more intimidated I can get. Depends on my mood and ALL the details with me...this includes personality, intelligence, physical appearance, relationship status, hiv status, etc... It's kind of a meaningless question, really. It assumes there's an objective standard of attractiveness out there, when beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Women have positively atrocious taste in men (I remember when Fabio was the big thing, and I frankly find him almost repulsive). Judging by the porn out there, most gay guys seem to think a skinny (barely) 18 year old hairless white stick insect is the epitome of hotness. That's not me now and never has been.

But judging myself by my own standards, there are certain things I wouldn't mind changing...I could stand to lose a little bulk and add a little muscle. I definitely wish I could grow a decent beard and had more in the body hair department. I wish my skin could acquire a little more color. So call me a solid 7 who, with improvement in diet and exercise and all that could perhaps get to an 8 or so.

I'd give myself a 6.5 but for some reason other guys (including some smoking hot guys) routinely suggest that I'm pretty hot myself. There must be some truth to it because I rarely get turned down when trying to hookup. I've always chalk the discrepancy up to the fact that I'm not my own type.
