Most of the ones I've been to have been advertised on BBRT or somewhere similar. The rest I hear about through word of mouth.

that said, the party I go towhen I am in nyc is a dont ask dont tell, there might be a few neg guys there,but no one talks about it.

Strange, the guys I find the hottest tend to be total tops like myself. But I think it all depends on the the crowd: If you have pnp-friendly crowd with an average age of 40, they're practically all poz. I've been to parties for youngsters, where the average age is 25, there it's more like 20-50-30 (neg - don't know - poz), a lot of young guys stick to topping for quite a few years if that's how they started having gay sex.

A LOT of parties are "don't ask, don't tell" (Though I think most "big" parties are "do as you like" as the host doesn't want to get involved in any ethical or even legal questions and sticks to the "I'm just supplying the room" line.).

One would think that DADT is hot, but often I find them a bit lame. Many guys are in denial (about their barebacking habits and haven't been tested for anything for ages) and the DADT motto feeds into that. Does it really matter what the setup is when people usually lie anyways? Not having someone telling you whether he's poz or neg or prefers bareback over safe sex is not really any different than barebacking with someone that tells you he's neg when he's really poz.

People who take care of themselves physically and mentally tend to be more attractive physically in my experience so I agree with GermanFucker. Most guys I have known who had the I don't care attitude were also addicted to meth having gone in a downward spiral loosing their job, home, and so they might as well just not care any take any raw cock cause it might just get them some more drugs or a place to crash.
