    Yeah, the pull downs were using a plug-in feature for the software which broke with the upgrade. I was just tinkering with it before responding to you and I tried something and now all the pull downs work again! Go figure. Let me spend a few minutes to see if I can get the submenus to be a bit more contextually appropriate, etc.

    Just curious what you guys do when you're bottoming but enjoying the fuck… I mean when it happens to a top they're usually in control of the situation and can find a way to end things. But bottoms don't have quite as much control over the scene. If a top's not into it his dick goes soft and he can say he's just not up for fucking. But bottoms don't have those sorts of physical signals/excuses. So when it happens to you - Do you just endure it? Do you put up with it only if the guy seems close to cumming? Or do you just cut it off? Does it depend on the environment? I mean ending it isn't a big deal at a sex party where he can fuck another bottom, but would be a big deal if the guy just traveled an hour to get to you.

    I did a software upgrade on the site today. Here's what changed... The menus in the top navigation bar work a little differently. The Blogs, Pictures and Porn menu had pull-downs. What I was using for the pull-downs doesn't work with the new versions, so the pull-downs are gone. Adding a picture album may be more difficult now that Pictures doesn't have a drop down menu - need to test that. But the big change was that while I was in there tinkering with things I decided to add a mobile-optimized theme. Previously you had to deal with a non-optimized site or use Forum Runner (an app for Android/iOS). Now you can just point your mobile phone at the site and it will use a mobile-optimized theme. I haven't done much to customize the theme - just put in the logo and analytics code. I'll tweak that more later. Let me know if anything doesn't seem to work like before.

    I'm working on other stuff at the moment. My big accomplishment the last month has been implementing a better, embeddable video player on Raunchy Fuckers. That's having a huge impact - I think today will be the day when traffic from player embeds on other sites gets to be bigger than regular traffic to the site. I'm quite happy Bottom line - I need my existing business to be more profitable so I have the money I need to do the hookup site. Sales have been going well the past month or so, so I'm hopeful. And the additional traffic from the new player is a big deal for me. I'll probably start in on the hookup site this fall. Maybe have something for the end of the year. There's a few other things I need to do before the hookup site. PrEP has been interesting for me. It's let me explore risky fantasies I've had. But the curious thing is that I've found a lot of those fantasies just aren't for me. Reality isn't as great as the fantasy. So it's actually helped me get things out of my system and get back to what I really like - though I have found a few things that are new for me that will stay with me. [but all of that is a topic for another thread.] The hookup site will have the same HIV status breakdown I have here. I have been thinking about a ratings system. You both confirm for the system that there's going to be a hookup. Then afterwards you have the ability to rate the person. This accomplishes a few things - first the person isn't really serious about hooking up if they won't confirm the hookup with the system ahead of time - so fewer fakes. But there will need to be some way to control for bad reviews 'cause the chemistry is just off. Maybe your rating will be your modal or median average - not the mean.

    I may have a field that asks "how piggy are you?" Then if the respond very piggy, then they see options vanilla guys don't see. Maps are great. But I need to be careful not to have maps that would zoom in too much and reveal a person's location.

    To bring down the immoral decadence of Western culture? Thing is the attacks were rather benign. The first attack took major pages and linked them to something to sell. So that was about making money. This last attack was just a matter of saying "I can still fuck with you even though you think you locked down your server". Personally, if I were a hacker I'd cookie stuff the site or something that could make me money without the site owner knowing they'd been hacked. So who knows what goes through the mind of a hacker. In a way I think they just like the attention. There's a "look at what I did" aspect to it.

    After looking closely at the hacker's activity on the site I'm reasonably confident that we've found and repaired the damage. It could have been far worse. If I find other problems there's a chance I may need to do a rather drastic fix that would wipe out a bunch of posts. But for now that doesn't seem necessary. If you're wondering the hacker last week was from Iraq. The one today was from Morocco. Please keep an eye out for problems and PM me or email me if you see anything - rawtop@breedingzone.com

    Yes, after my host locked down the server the site was hacked yet again (via another method). Because the hacker messed with the database this time (and previously a few days ago - though I didn't notice it until now). I may need to restore from a backup which could result in data loss - meaning your recent posts will get wiped out. I'm not sure yet what we'll do to fix things. Fingers crossed.

    With Firefox do a "get info" (Command I on Mac, presumably Ctrl I on Windows). Choose the Media tab. Scroll to the bottom and the profile pic will be one of the last listed. Just choose "Save As..." and you've got the pic.

    People need to hear more stories like that - they get the idea that using condoms means they won't get HIV, when in fact it only reduces 90-95% of the risk. The 5-10% risk can still result in the guy becoming poz.
