New law signed by the governor changes the charge of intentionally exposing someone to hiv from a felony to a misdemeanor.Evidence cited in bill support said new drugs make living with hiv not the debilitating death sentence it once was.Curious if this will make more guys stealth.

Your comments are causing me to re-evaluate my actions. It is one thing to play around at the baths or adult video arcades etc and take annonymous cum of unknown status, and quite another to meet a man you know is hiv pozitive and toxic for the express purpose of deliberatly infecting myself by being his bottom and accepting his seed into my body and life. While the former behaviour depends on the "safety"of the unknown, it has been my practise until now.Ready to take the next step and get more deliberate about this now.

Probably true for all chasers but at some point most of us WILL commit to what we desire.Just take a long time for some, some might NEVER commit and stay at the permanent wanker stage and some just go to the baths and slut themselves out for annonymous cum and get pozzed that first nite.Your attitude and behaviour is admirable.:)

Well said pozpig!Personal responsibility is kind of dead now, everyone seems to want an "out" if things go wrong, somebody to blame and collect damages from. The position an hiv poz man finds himself in is very much like the relationship between a lawfully licensed driver and the jaywalking pedestrian he just ran over. The duty to drive safely is placed on the driver.the jaywalking pedestrian is less legally responsible perhaps because the potential risk of injury is SO MUCH greater. So how does a man who enjoys chasing the bug as I DO offer some protection to possible tops?Consent cards printed in advance and signed by both parties engaged in the transmission of infected semen and duly notarized by a sworn notary public>Boy THAT would take the magic out of that sexual moment!lol...:)

Well said pozpig! The burden to disclose was LIGHTENED a bit not ELIMINATED.Personally I sometimes ask, sometimes don'y,sorta depends on what sexual activity we are anticipating.Oral sex no need to ask,if I am topping again no need.If I am bottoming I sometimes ask....and the last guy who seeded me said he was poz,but on meds. That was many months ago and tested neg last week. Still find sex with poz men an incredible turn on.The law will always seek to paint parties involved in simplistic terms a jury of idiots can understand. They want the easily understood offending party stamp on hiv poz men and the innocent victim patch pinned to the newly infected party.

Kinda feel the burden of disclosue got a LOT lighter with the advent of prep, pep and so many poz men meds compliant and undetectable.A man out taking raw loads who is NOT on prep must assume the risk for his behavior.Stealthing IS still a criminal act,and there will always be guys doing that.I admire your grasp of the issue.:)
