  1. I think what I like about Berlin is the acceptance. Apart from BB, I have various fetish interests - mostly around boots sneakers socks and feet, and if I indulge them in a bar or club in Berlin (not necessarily a specialist fetish place) then there is usually no reaction from onlookers - or if I'm lucky others will show an interest too. Try that in London outside a specialist club and you get people pointing, mocking outrage and laughing. In berlin, it seems almost everything is accepted and people are much less judgmental.

  2. I bought my ticket for the Biohazardmen Party this December and can't wait to go. It should be awesome.

I quite like the smaller BB parties at places like Stahlrohr, Scheune or Bose Buben that you see advertised in Siegessaule or Barebackfucker online. The bigger parties - especially at Folsom and Easter seem to suffer from being too busy as guys seem be caught up in the possibility that someone prettier will be along in a minute. The smaller ones seem to be a bit more friendly have more local guys, fewer tourists and have a higher number of loads for me.

  3. Last June when I was in Berlin guys with PAs seemed to be a theme. Two of the best and most memorable fucks from that weekend were from guys with PAs. I loved the feeling of the steel pressing against my hole prior to penetration and once inside it felt awesome. Not at all painful but neither were big gage PAs. Now if I see someone wearing a PA, they're top of my list.

On another occasion a guy at SOP in London wanted to piss up my ass... and like some guys found pissing when hard a bit tricky, but he had a PA and it kinda worked like an anchor keeping him inside even though as he was pissing he was getting soft.

I'd love to find someone with a PA and a Ladder to see how that feels... any volunteers?

I am cautious when sucking off guys with PAs as it might be easy to cause damage if things get a bit rough.

If I wasn't so squeamish about needles I've have a PA and a guiche.

  4. A couple spring to mind:

first would be to seek out a prolific load taker at a party like biohazardmen or cumunion, wait until the end when he is full of cum and well fucked, and convince him to fuck me using the mix from his ass as lube. Taking his load knowing how many loads he’s taken would be awesome.

second revolves around hard and rough fucks from specific guys, like Pigboy Ruben (Ruben Litzky) in sleazy locations.

I am sure it’s the product of watching too many Cazzo videos but being the plaything of a gang of Skinheads or Punks is also on the list. Specifically getting fucked while down worshipping their boots would be fine.

  5. There no shower, but as a regular there and faced with a commute home here’s what I do:

    1. take a complete change in clothes including shoes to wear clean home.

    2. Take a small towel. I rinse my face and hair in the bathroom sink before changing when it’s time to go home.

    3. Take a black bin bag to put wet clothes and shoes in so your backpack or whatever doesn’t get dirty

    4. I’m not usually a fan of scents except natural man scents but Lynx body spray/deodorant spray works well to mask any remaining aroma if someone sits next to you on the train home

    5. Wash your gear out when you get home ASAP as piss has a way of dissolving adhesive in sneakers and they kinda fall apart (Nike TN especially) if left for a day or two unwashed.

6, alcohol hand gel for you hands if you get the munchies on the way home.

Always wanted to go, but never found myself in London on a Sunday afternoon with somewhere to stay... I must change that at some point soon :)

Don't forget SOP is also on Tuesday nights - I've not been in a while as I have a regular commitment on Tuesdays but from what I remember it was a little less busy but more intense than the Sunday.

I was on irc when in college. That was the late 1990s. Someonet old me recently that it is still in use, but primarily by the government, gamer chat, etc.

Wow I was on IRC in the early nineties on EFNET - I owe thanks to the supportive community on there when I was coming out. I remember many late nights in front of a text only terminal in the uni library chatting with guys across the world. The primary U.K. university channel was #ukpoofs and we had many Meetup’s and parties all over the uk. There were a lot of chat channels for all kinds of interests and I met some nice and interesting guys in my formative years on line and in real life through IRC.

I also remember Lintilla which was a multi user text based adventure thing. There were various worlds to explore and the gay one was popular. You could explore and chat to guys and earn points to your profile which unlocked various abilities like being able to lock a room for privacy or kick out a troll. Chat was of the horny one handed typing variety... and led to some sticky situations in the library and computer centre at uni.

  8. I think every sauna or cruise club has someone like this. I've given up with the typical british passive aggressive responses as it rarely works and will directly confront people and challenge bad behaviour in these situations. Most are really shocked you call them out. It works best if others are present to witness it rather than 1-2-1. In UK saunas talking in a public cruise space is kinda taboo so if you call someone out there in front of others the effect is quite magnified and it scores you points with others who might be thinking the same thing.  Some modify their behaviour and some just avoid me - which is totally fine.

  9. I much prefer meeting in clubs and saunas to online as the websites and apps seem to be so full of flakes.

That said there are aspects of different sites that are good. I like the way you can leave "reviews" of encounters on Squirt so you can see if someone is a player or a fantasist easily. I like the way I can easily find guys into similar fetishes on Recon. Planet Romeo / Gayromeo has a features where escort profiles are flagged and you can switch them off or specifically search for an escort if that's your thing.

I think the key to a site aimed at this community is to somehow make it exclusive to keep the tourists and one handed typists out. Some kind of reputation score would work ?

  10. I'm looking at getting a sling to use at home.

I'm after something well made that can be erected and put away when necessary. I'm considering whether to put some fixings in the ceiling (from joists in the attic) to hang a sling from or buy something with a frame or even make something myself.

So... guys who own slings - any advice on what to go for? What works well and what doesn't?

Any recommendations (particularly in the UK/EU) ?

I've had someone advise me to replace chains with rope to make it quieter (I live in an apartment, so loud noise is an issue) which was something I didn't think of.

  11. An interesting and honest post, Rawdawg13.  A lot of what you say chimes with me...

I've always been been a bit shy and self-conscious. It means I'm reluctant to take my shirt off in a club. If I'm in a play space I am more often in the periphery than the centre. When I saw friends and playmates getting far more action I took a long hard look at why and all I could conclude was a matter of attitude. Let me give an example:

If I saw someone I liked in a cruising place - I might admire from across the room - edge closer - see if there's any body language or if he's noticed me - pick up courage what to do or say - and by the time I've made an approach I usually get a rebuttal or he's moved on and interested in someone else. I watched how my friend Marcus worked similar situations: he was really direct. No messing - straight in there, often on his knees! So I decided to try that approach and yes sometimes you get refused but the success rate was so much higher. In my case it just needed a bit of courage and getting over the possibility of rejection.

I also looked at how more prolifically successful guys worked the clubs and saunas and in terms of group action they were not afraid to push their way into the centre of an active group and get stuck in. Guys like me watched from the outside and hoped that another guy on the outside might be interested. So I changed my behaviour again and became more assertive in groups to stay in the 'eye of the storm' and be actively involved.

These things didn't come naturally to me - they still take effort - and are a little easier after a beer.

The final hurdle was the taking your shirt off thing. I remember going to Cumunion when it was in The Flying Dutchman in London, and was wearing a jock and t-shirt. The guy running the event was chatting to me at the bar and tried very hard to convince me to un-shirt. I did and it made me very self conscious that first time - so much that it showed in my attitude and affected my success. A week later I was at SOP in Central Station and the barman there I knew said much the same thing - you should take your shirt off and show off your hairy chest - so I did. This time I felt less self conscious and got more attention. The next time it didn't bother me at all and it helped a lot.

The other thing I've noticed is to make your stamp on a place early. If I play early-on in a place where other guys can observe then others who are interested seem to come forwards more readily during the rest of the evening. I've noticed other guys do this - play with someone they know and make an impression early on...

So for me it's a journey - I'm constantly looking at how guys who are seemingly less good looking but more prolific in the scene behave and adapting my behaviour - even if it takes me out of my comfort zone.

    Good luck

    Andy

  12. I think what works well depends on the area.

Where I live - outside London in the countryside - all the apps are a bit thin for local fun. Maybe 10 guys within 1 mile on Grindr or Scruff and its always the same 10 guys... So I tend to use BBRT as it is a little more focused on what I am after and have to travel 20-30 miles to meet guys as they tend not to want to travel themselves. There does seem to be a high amount of flakes and like 100 bottoms for every 1 top.

When I am travelling - particularly in Berlin - BBRT seems to pick up mostly other travellers as the locals seem to prefer GayRomeo (very popular in mainland europe) and a german bareback hook site (I forget the name).

I've not had any luck with nastykinkpigs or squirt in the UK. Although squirt is useful for finding cruising spots. Recon is good for more fetish oriented guys.

Grindr and BBRT are much better in central london where there is a higher density of people but there are still a lot of flakes.

By far the best way in the UK and EU seems to be to go to clubs, parties and bathhouses/saunas. Nothing beats old school cruising for success. Parties like CumUnion, SOP and venues like Central Station and The Vault in London are far more successful for finding like minded horny guys for fun. In the summer Hampstead Heath too.  Guys seem to be a bit more open to versatility in person, where as on the apps they seem focused on 'bottom only'.

I might augment physically visiting a place by advertising on BBRT that I'm going but have never knowingly benefitted from doing so.

It intrigues me when I read on here about people posting ads online or in apps and getting a dozen guys show up to breed them. Does this really happen?  Talking to UK based friends I can't seem to find any that have had this kind of experience.  Maybe British 'reservedness' kicks in and stops guys from behaving like that?
