I had the fuck flu two weeks after I got pozzed. A year after that I had my first case of pneumonia but didn't start treatment at that time. In June, after two hospitalizations, I finally got some bloodwork done, By that time I had full-blown AIDS (CD4 count of 13). I'm now medicating (Bictarvy) and I go for my next blood work in a couple of weeks, but I can definitely feel the difference already. I always said I would never medicate but I'm looking forward to stopping meds once I'm undetectable so I can go through it all again.

I used to take daily enemas and hope to again, but with a CD-4 of 13 I'm not putting anything into my body that wouldn't normally go there.

I think I've confused t-cell count with viral loads. I apologize; this is all very new to me. My question, then, is why my team didn't measure my viral load. -

Thanks! I'm taking Biktarvy now so I hope to retreat from full-blown AIDS before next year. But that's what I mean about my bloodwork. They haven't tested my t-cell count at all since I was assigned to them! I have a local doctor who isn't affiliated with them at all (I live in West Virginia, so they're two hours away) and I'm going to ask him tomorrow for a t-cell count. -
I tested POZ a few weeks ago and began meeting with my team on August 6. On my second visit I asked why the t-cell count wasn't part of my initial blood work. My doctor (an infections disease specialist who otherwise impressed me as very competent) said that it was there... and then pointed to my CD-4 count (which is 13!). Did I misunderstand something?

I was pozzed about a year ago. I am not medicating. I'm aware that it can take ten years, or more, for untreated HIV to develop into AIDS. I'd like to know more about these statistics, though. I've just gotten my first confirmed STD, and it's the big one. I took a blood slam from a dirty donor who was having an episode of fuck flu himself when he gave it to me. After he fucked me a couple times, he drew 8ml of dark red blood from his arm. I was as wasted as I could get without hard drugs. I was stoned (baked!) and had had a full bottle of wine as an enema. I took a double-barreled hit of poppers, inhaled a balloon of NO2, and had him inject his blood directly into my scrotum. Two weeks later I started feeling off; in a couple days I was fevered, nauseous, achy, had a headache, and was tired all the time. Two weeks ago I went to the baths on free testing night and got swabbed. It only took a few minutes to show it: Pozzed. It has now been six weeks since that blood slam and I still have the fatigue and achiness. I love every moment of it!

I just got over a two week fuck flu after getting blood slammed and fucked multiple times by a donor who was suffering the fuck flu himself at the time. I went to the doctor to get an excuse for work and they tested my for the regular flu and strep, which both came back negative, of course. If I get tested it will be a home test and I will not medicate.
