  1. Touching myself? Age 6/7 when I discovered dry orgasms (with the help of a cousin who was a year older than I). I always felt that I was different; this was the 60s in the Midwest, so not really hospitable for a gay kid. I knew I preferred boys, and first heard of Christine Jorgensen (the trans pioneer) when I was 11-ish and thought I'd probably have to go to Denmark for the surgery. I had no framework for being gay at the time, though I was regularly called "fairy," "fem," and "faggot" - the three Fs. I first applied the term "gay" to myself at age 14, while at Disney World (of all places) with my parents, no less. We were getting a sailing lesson (don't ask) on one of the lakes (possibly an artificial lake) and I found myself looking at the instructor, a hunky, dark-haired man. I wondered if he were thinking about me...and it all came together. I was seriously upset for a while, my parents didn't know what to do with me. I accepted it gradually, though that was just my first baby steps towards living as an "out" gay man.

I have been acquaintances of his for many years. We never fucked. But he never was a nice person. He was arrogant and he was rude to others. He knows that his personality and body were captivating. And he thought that he deserved all of the accolades. Basically, he was a douche bag.

I never met the man, but I know people who know him, and he apparently isn't/wasn't always a kind person. That said, the whole situation is, to put it mildly, unfortunate.

  4. I guess I'm not the spontaneous sort. I usually set up encounters with plenty of lead time, disclose my HIV status upfront and my desire to take the load. And...I have a few friends with benefits. I remember the first time I barebacked years after learning I was HIV positive. We'd set it up, I'd told him the score.  When he was about to fuck me (as in I was in position and he was about to enter), he asked "Do you want to take the load?" I answered "This is an option? SURE!!!!!!!!" From then on out, I just made it clear I wanted it bare. If people don't want to that, no hard feelings, I just move on.

The moral of this story is, never run after a bus, a train, a cab or a man. There's always another one coming along.

  5. I don't think there's a single explanation. Part of it is a particular political moment with moves away from internationalism.  It's like asking why did the citizens of the UK vote resoundingly to "Brexit" from the EU? Neither country will benefit economical from isolationist policies, but they make for great sound bytes. Some of it, I believe, is lingering fury over the 2006/2007 subprime mortgage debacle. Entire life savings evaporated, and yet some of the primary beneficiaries (e.g., Jamie Dimon) were never called to account. On top of it, the U.S. chose to use taxpayer money to bail out several industries. In many places, people embrace simplistic solutions because the institutions do not serve their interests.  After either the 2008 or 2012 election in the US, an article ran in Vanity Fair(?) titled Government of the One Percent by the One Percent. The economic interests of the vast majority of citizens in the U.S. are not shared by their representatives, and it's not easy to get representatives who will represent us since incumbency is tantamount to permanent tenure, and there's much too much money infused by corporations. The Citizens United Supreme court decision essentially declared corporations and unions to have the free speech rights of individuals. That has left us with a bunch of self-interested "individuals" with outsized funds to funnel into getting candidates elected. Unions have been on the run since the Regan presidency of the 80s, so they don't have as much clout.

All of this has translated into unfocused fury and a lack of real political alternatives. I personally think that too many are looking for the knight in shining armor (aka, presidential candidates) to rescue us, which doesn't really work. To create even the possibility of change, the broader mass of citizens of the US are going to have to figure out how to talk one another, and not get so organized the bipartisan organization of political life. Otherwise, our political dialogue will continue to be deadlocked.

  6. I looked at moving a bit. It can be tricky if you're HIV positive. Believe it or not, Canada does not want HIV+ immigrating there. I believe that if one wants to, tests are required.

From what I recall, the EU has no regulations on HIV status; I can't remember about the UK. The Mideast is not hospitable, generally speaking, to people with HIV.

Sorry I can't be more definite, I was unable to find the Website that had specific information.

  7. I will always retain affection for this highly imperfect man, because when he stepped up in 2012 to endorse gay marriage, he paid a steep political price at the time. Obama's aides and staff were furious with him, he was shut out for quite some time. That allowed my nephew and his now husband to marry and adopt a daughter.

There is no such thing as a perfect person or elected official. I rather liked his off-the-cuff style, even with his well-documented blunders.

  8. I've taken various sizes, and am not really a size queen. As others have commented, extremely large dicks can really hurt, depending on any number of factors. In the end (pun intended) it's about a lot more than volume or length or a guy with a particular build. I'm not really a monogamous sort of boy, but I like there to be a connection and meeting of minds in addition to the intersection of body parts! "Variety's the very spice of life, That gives it all its flavour." William Cowper, 1785

Or a slutty modern version: "So many men...so little time!" 🙃

  9. PLEASE NOTE: THESE OPINIONS ARE SOLELY MY OWN!

There certainly have been protests and the media has reported on the more egregious violations.

I think a lot of people are terribly confused about what can be done to respond. The opposition in the US has depended on tried and true tactics: protest marches, boycotts and letters/calls/emails to elected representatives. My personal take is that those tactics aren't terribly effective any longer. There's no real consequence for the powers that be when they're ignored. Part of that is the historic relationship of "progressive" movements with the Democratic Party. While I don't think the Democrats are in any way the same as the GOP/Republicans, in the end they largely have chosen to co-opt social motion to leaders that aren't willing to shake up the status quo of power arrangements. While there are things I didn't care for about Mr. Biden, he walked the walk in that he diversified the racial/gender makeup of his administration. I think it was best described by an article that came out years ago - 2008 or 2012 - in Vanity Fair. In the United States we are governed by the one percent FOR the one percent.

My own feelings are mixed; while the Democratic Party put an end to discrimination in the military, Sam Nunn (former Democratic senator for the state of Georgia ) was adamantly opposed to allowing gays in the military and blocked it at every turn and Bill Clinton put into place the disastrous "don't ask, don't tell" policy. Joe Biden forced the Obama administration to push for marriage equality, yet Bill Clinton signed the Defense of Marriage Act. Pardon me if I still feel at best skeptical of the Democratic Party as an institution, though apologies have been offered.  To put it bluntly, we in the US don't have a reliable vehicle to push to save reforms let alone enact them.

I trace some of the anger to the absolute abandonment of any real programs to help with poverty, both in the inner cities and rural poverty (e.g., Appalachia and the so-called Rust Belt states). Add to that the real lack of consequences to the perpetrators of the sub-prime mortgage debacle of 2006/2007, and you have an enraged electorate that feels fucked over. With good reason.

At this point, I feel much more sympathy to the progressives in pre-WW2 Europe. I used to wonder why didn't they do more, where was the left when the right was busily exterminating Jews, Roma, Catholics, and Socialists? I have a better answer to that now: like them, the progressive movement in the US was too timid and did not do more than call for marches which lead to nothing changing. Incumbents were unwilling to risk their comfortable government jobs and pensions to create stronger safeguards. So here we are, basically fucked.

Personally, I am investing my time and money in immediate help for those affected and in creating electoral reform - things like open primaries - so that the current bipartisan policies of upholding the stranglehold of money and incumbency on our political process.

  10. "Wanted" with Al Parker and Jack Wrangler. My favorite scene wasn't hot, I found it funny: Jack Wrangler is a prison guard "supervising" a chain gang while fucking one of the inmates and shouting "I can still see you!" When he realizes that the inmates are making a break for it, he grabs for his gun, but his "playmate" pins him in place with his ass...

Some sleazebag middle age  thug i can't fucking stand dumped four loads in me before pulling out. I count that as one fuck. A very good fuck, but only one.  And yes I'd let him do it again.  And again.

Well, sleazebags have their place. Using men for sex only goes both ways, after all.

I guess for me it's usually that I take a load and then....BREAK TIME! I'm an old man, my legs, hips, thighs, and hole need a minute to recover. Or else a different guy takes over, so I get a new load. In that way i can take four loads in a night, including getting DP after being warmed up.
