  1. No apologies or explanations necessary. A lot of people - myself included - are really enjoying it. The means of its creation are immaterial. Continue doing what you’re doing, and don’t be discouraged by negativity. I look forward to more.
  2. No wonder he’s smiling. I’d be grinning ear to ear permanently if it was me.
  3. As always, the UK government uses a sledgehammer to miss a nut. VPNs are invaluable in protecting people online, so if they go ahead and ban VPNs the effect of the Online Safety Bill will be to make online unsafe. It will also leave us with the most repressed internet this side of China. We really are led by dunderheads.
  4. It now looks like members of the UK government are vowing to ban VPNs within six months…
  5. It’s tiresome but you can still access it using a VPN, which I’d
  6. My VPN is now more or less permanently set on New York! 🤣
  7. It can be frustrating but the process does, to my mind, ensure this is one of the more positive (no pun intended) sites on the internet.
  8. I’ve located myself in New York - if only because I wish I was there for real!
  9. I use Surfshark. I spend more on coffees in a month than Surfshark costs me for the year.
  10. In the UK and can only access you via a VPN
  11. I’ve just had a notification from Recon that, to comply with the legislation, they’ll need age verification - they mention using a face scan.
  12. Which some members of the present government did propose while in opposition.
  13. I’ve never (knowingly) had sex with a priest, but one catholic priest once used to regularly visit the nudist/gay beach I went to locally. One end was straight/families and no nudes, then there was a section which was straight/nudist… but the further you trudged along the dunes and pines, the gayer and more cruisey it became (typically, the gays had to walk 2 miles for our bit). This priest would turn up with a minibus of old ladies - presumably rounded up from the local care homes - park them on the sands, then walk to the gay end to get his rocks off before going back to take his old ladies off for tea or ice creams.
  14. That was quite common at The Fort in London. A venue much missed by those of us who went there regularly…
  15. I can only echo this. I was in New York last week and, honestly, if I didn’t also have responsibilities and could afford to do so, I’d quit the UK and move there in a heartbeat.
  16. This brings back memories of a few years ago. Not a scaffolder as such, but a young construction worker - hard hat, hi viz jacket, the lot - who was working at Euston Station. Our eyes met. We knew. And we wandered off to find somewhere to act on it. It was brief, but immensely satisfying…
  17. Back in the day, there was a guy who monopolised that sling so much I was convinced he was welded to it.
  18. You write so vividly. It feels like we’re there with you.
  19. I’ve heard NordVPN is very good. I use Surfshark which I find excellent. You can put it on numerous devices, which works out economically.
  20. Seconded.
  21. This is so true. I can’t imagine not having one when connecting to public WiFi.
  22. VPNs are the answer, I think. At least until they, too, are banned. And that was raised as a possibility by members of our present government when they were in opposition.
  23. Yes. I’ve heard some horror stories. Being “knobbed and robbed” was quite common in Manchester. I guess I was lucky.
  24. Funnily enough, I never experienced theft. But I have to admit it was always a consideration.
  25. When I lived in Manchester and had my own place near the city centre, being able to host was better than having a 13” cock…
