Well explained. As someone old enough to have experienced it, it's good to read about your experience firsthand. I'm British and was born in the late 70s so my experience was vastly different to yours. Europe has a very different approach to these things compared to the U.S. -

You're bisexual/pansexual by your own admission, and your experience will be different to a gay men. The places you frequent to have sex with men are set up for men to have sex with men and not lesbians, trans women etc. This is not being unaccepting of the other letters in the community, it's just a facility set up purposely for men to have sex with men.

Masculinity is still separate from the very reality of being a biological man. Butch lesbians are often masculine and encapsulate this perfectly and I'm sure you wouldn't view then as potential sex partners, or perhaps you would? Those sissy guys, bottoms or fembois are still men regardless of what they're wearing or their presentation - it's all a role they're playing, regardless of whether you or I like it or not.

Sex clubs all the way and cruising as a back up. There's no comparison. I'm mostly into groups and love it frenzied, hard and nasty - everyone plugging and getting plugged and of course, you don't get that experience at home. Apps are a huge waste of time for real pigs. -

I didn't think it would be. Lab is awesome but I stick to the piss nights (my favourite as it draws in the fetish crowd, like the rubber nights) and the naked parties. It's interesting how the different parties draw in different guys. While the naked nights etc are great, I find they're not as hardcore and sleazy as the others. I also find the guys skew younger, and I prefer older guys who you'll find frequent the other events more. I'm avoiding all the major parties at Lab now, and as I won't be doing Folsom this year, I don't feel like I'll be missing anything. Looking forward to visiting for the October piss event.

It's great fun and what you'd expect from Lab. Have you been to Lab before? If not, here's the run down; you enter, pay by card and the cashier will give you a big plastic bad to put your stuff in after you get changed. The change area is just beyond the entrance, and from here the lighting in most places is low. You're given a wrist band with a number on and this is what the staff use to record your purchases at the bar - so don't lose it! Lab is large and grimy and is part of Berghin which is an ex-Soviet factory, so it's industrial and totally in keeping with the setting for a sex club. There are various large areas which go off from the main entrance and from there you have a large bar and dance floor, beyond this is a large low ceiling 'dark area' where lots of the fucking takes place - I mean a lot, it's a squashed, sweaty fuck fest with louds grunts and sounds of cock slapping arse. Heaven. From there the club expands, with toilets to one side and an upper level where I see a lot of fisting taking place. A large open area leads on from here and beyond this is where all the piss action takes place. There is a box type arrangement with a grid floor where guys are pissing, piss fucking and drinking and below this is a basement area which looks like the inside of a urinal, where guys are doing all the same but getting pissed on from the guys above. There's also the adjacent staircase where guys line up to be pissed on/drink piss from the guys standing above. It's an awesome party and there's no other piss event like it, except the piss area at Darklands in Belgium, but that takes place once a year. I'm going again next month and I can't wait. -

I think you mean the bouncers for Berghain? The doormen at Lab are generally fine and let everyone in. I visited Le Keller in March this year for the first time and loved it - a proper dirt hole.
