Worth remembering that aside from the area where the fuck tree is all, all the cruising takes place in roughly the same area so unless you wander off to find the fuck tree it's actually difficult to get lost. Also, take all your litter with you or throw it in the big industrial bin on the main path. Litter is a huge issue, especially in the summer months. Be responsible.

I know most people on here loathe rubbers, but is it always a deal breaker? I prefer raw of course, but if a guy I really want to fuck wants to use condoms, I honestly don't mind. If you're still keen on going to Lab/Berghain, plan a trip outside of the big events, i.e, Folsom, BLF, Snax etc. It's worth it. I don't think the change in the crowd is intentional, I'm seeing it everywhere on the fetish scene, especially with the increasing popularity of the pup/handler community. Younger non-fetish guys are venturing out to the bigger events for sex, which is fine, but 20 year-old twinks in pink plastic harnesses does nothing for me. The older guys were all over Berlin for BLF, just not at Snax, which is a shame as 6-7 years ago, it was much more sleazy.
