    If you've never been, by all means give it a go - just to tick the box if anything. As someone who's been many times and currently uses the area as a go to due to venues being closed, Hampstead Heath can pose a few problems that may hinder your enjoyment. 1) It can be TOO dark in the evening, so much so that you can't see your own hand in front of your face in the areas where most of the cruisers gather. If you're a certified cum dump, then get stuck in, but if you're like me and like to be a bit more discerning with potential play mates, then this problem can often result in a sexless night. 2) Exhibitionism and group play kind of go hand in hand with cruising grounds, but I feel HH is one place where people will join in uninvited wherever they see guys playing even when it's clear an invite hasn't been given. 3) Drug use is prolific, more so than other cruising grounds I've used. I'm just waiting for venues to reopen so I don't need to rely on cruising grounds, which can be fun when used occasionally, but as the main outlet for sex, it's wearing thin quickly.

    Hi all, I'm looking at venturing out to Palm Springs for Leather Pride 2021 and wanted an update on events for those who have been or who are familiar with PS. What's it like? Type of men? A brief on the parties/events that take place. Things to do in the locality, sex or non sexual? I'm a Leather man, so I'm hoping that this is the event for me and having been to many leather events worldwide, i feel a visit to the fabled PS is in order! Thanks. Lee.

    This dearth of sex is building up a certain level of frustration and tension I need to release soon. I'm not sure any sustained period of abstinence can work for most sexually active people, so given the current data around outside transmission, I'm going to be hooking up in cruising grounds within the next week or so.

    Long times lurker here... Towards the mid to late eighties hospitals in urban areas were definitely filling up with HIV/AIDS patients. it's worth remembering the 80%of people infected with COVID-19 show mild symptoms or are asymptomatic, and it's the remaining percentage of people with underlying illnesses and complications who make up the rest of the percentage and are the ones we see dying, but i say this not to minimise or undermine the current suffering we see happening everyday. Whilst i appreciate that COVID-19 and HIV differ greatly in their infectiousness, there is no vaccine or cure forty years on from the outbreak of the HIV epidemic and with HIV you will die a slow and agonising death if you don't take medication. HIV is far deadlier but we have found ways to make it manageable what with advanced antiretrovirals. The international response to COVID-19 has been generally robust, in comparison to the HIV/AIDS crisis whereby it wasn't until politicians became aware that the virus was indiscriminate and infecting straights that they sat up and took action. in any case, we are living in precarious times and it's incumbent on everyone to take precautions.
