There is a huge risk for your health having hiv and again it's not having hiv that is the problem well technically it is but it's more so the other things associated with ageing that get you. You must not read the news or follow issues around the world. People are still dying, there's no cure. I am not trying too offend people who have the virus, just speaking the known facts. People are at a higher risk from having a human immunodeficiency virus. Period, and antiviral medications have a lot of side effects, I see people who come dehydrated from having prolonged episodes of diarrhea, diarrhea can be life treating -- people actually die from it. You can be angry all you want, you do not have to read my post, the post was about Hiv and how someone was originally wanting to meet up with a possible hiv positive escort. Not too mention all our primary health care needs are covered including antiviral medications for those infected with Hiv. I guess I am well misinformed. You have stated nothing that hasn't been common knowledge for 30 years. You are addressing an audience on this site that knows more about the topic than most people, so saying that people can die from HIV/AIDS or that the meds have side effects is like telling us the sky is blue. What makes me say you are an asshole (for which I apologize , I could have handled that better) are the following two things. It’s true there is much stigma; however hiv isn’t like cancer – and if people are so well informed why is it still being spread – here in Canada it’s not so high like in The states, but we are seeing rates that are similar to that of 1996. The lowest new cases were in 2000, now 2011 reports show it went up…. Hmmmmm my understanding is people are not practicing safe sex… usually it is someone who is unfaithful in the relationship or just total random sex - so for those people I have the most sympathy for when its spread from an unfaithful partner others who just engage for fun not soooo much – take care of yourself and become informed prevention is the cure. However once we have a functional cure I am sure people will be humping like rabbits until a new stronger strain of the virus is somehow created. Gonorrhea is becoming a bitch to treat. Bare backing is fine I don’t see any major issues as long as you know who you are doing it with and both parties are clean. Living with Hiv is very manageable if you look after yourself, but if you are having sex with someone you must disclose that information. It is illegal not too. Anyway as for Antonio Biaggi as I said if he is or isn’t sure his business however if he is engaging in sex as an escort it’s his responsibility to disclose his status – I know parts of Nevada allow prostitution – not sure where he escorts though or really care. I am not anti poz. That is very tragic for your friend. I hope all is well - usually one of the first questions that should be asked with flu like symptoms in re-occurrence is have you had any unprotected sex and internal medicine specialist would request a blood test.
