Johnny84, it will seem counterintuitive until you think more deeply, but you may want to play with poz undetectable guys... They have regular care and tests, and undetectable load isn't going to infect you. ARV's are going to stop new infections. By contrast "neg" guys might very well be in the window period of infection where test is neg even though they are high VL poz. Read up on Partner study, TasP (treatment as protection).

For PrEP you may want to see if you can safely grind up pills to include with, for example, breakfast. I am not sure it is safe to do that with Truvada, but worth talking over with an infectious disease doc.

Just be careful... I would def. look into taking PrEP...also make sure u hook up only with guys who r undetectable. I'm undetectable myself but I always prefer to hook up wit poz/undetectable guys. You're confusing PrEP (Pre Exposure Prophylaxis) with PEP (Post Exposure Prophylaxis). You take PrEP daily, so that'd be before you engage in risky sex (really before and after since you're continually taking it). PEP is prescribed after a known exposure (within 72 hours after I think) to prevent infection.
