If you don't know much of anything about Weinstein - he's the guy who managed to get bareback porn made illegal in LA County. He's the guy who's gone after bareback porn producers like TIM and SD Boy. Basically he believes condoms should be mandatory. And allegedly he thinks so little of guys who become poz that he's taken money from programs that are supposed to care for people with AIDS and used the money instead for legal battles against the bareback porn industry.

Now he's gone a step too far and called Truvada/PrEP "a party drug". This is the last in a long history of him being against PrEP. It's one thing to go after bareback porn, but another to go against PrEP - which has proven itself in clinical trials and the first good news in HIV prevention in nearly 20 years. It's just irresponsible. He needs to go.

Assuming you're out, please get others to sign the petition as well - by posting on Facebook, etc.

I signed. Damn, I didn't know he was the guy that got bareback porn banned in LA. Worse that he takes money from groups that help people with HIV. I like AHF a lot they have a lot of centers in Ft. Lauderdale and at least one in GA. Thanks for making us aware rawtop. I hope he gets removed.

He's technically gotten it banned in all of CA after some administrative law judge ruled that porn actors must follow the same guidelines as medical personnel which means protection against "bodily fluids." They fined Kink and TIM for not forcing condom use. While most producers are ignoring it for now or moving NV or FL, others have switched to condoms. I know most here don't care for straight porn, but two of my favorite sites switched to all condoms a few months ago and I promptly dropped them.

Just out of curiosity but is this the guy who also is the reason it's actually mandatory or law to wear condoms in a dungeon playspace? I heard of that in California and I couldn't fucking believe that? Don't know how the hell you'd enforce that too. Could only be for private dungeon.

Done. I agree with most comments on here. It is a shame that he uses AHF as his platform and funds that are raised to help those battling the virus for political purposes. You can't legislate condom usage. It's time to adopt Treatment as Prevention as a more reasonable and more effective strategy to lessen the number of new infections. TasP=Treatment as Prevention.
