My husband and I will be in New Orleans for Southern Decadence again this year. We are staying across the street from the Phoenix, so we intend to spend some time there. 

 

If you are going to be there, it would be great to meet you and/or take your load.

We always stay here http://www.elysianfieldsinn.com/ when we visit New Orleans. 

It is across the street from The Phoenix, close to Frenchman Street (which is the new hot touristy area), and easy walking distance to the French Quarter. It has just changed owners though, so I can't speak to the management yet.

I'll be there for Southern Decadence labor day weekend. First time going to Decadence but looking forward to it. I'll be staying at the French Quarter Suites Hotel.

I'll be down as well.  I'm staying at the Omni Royal with the Ducks; they have at least 80% of the rooms.  BTW, I heard there are a couple of rooms open at the Omni and if you book through the Decadent Ducks Travel site, you also get into their parties etc.  Not trying to sell for them, it's just they are a fantastic group of guys and the Omni has a fantastic roof top pool that is filled with hot men all weekend.
