What happened to Brent Corrigan?

Does anyone know what Brent Corrigan aka (Sean Paul Lockhart) is doing these days? He seems to have dropped off the map. There is a movie loosely based on the events surrounding the former Cobra Video producer's grisly death...which made me think of him. 

Last I knew, he was extremely against bareback porn...and even using PREP because it would encourage barebacking. So he signs with Falcon, does condom porn, and on the day one of his last movies with them was released...get this...Corrigan releases his own porn scene separately getting fucked BAREBACK!

I believe Corrigan had only one scene filmed (at least that I know of) that I think he released on his site. Or on another site he and someone else ran. To be honest it wasn't all that good. I mean ok. But I'm sure we've seen many that are better and hotter.

he turned legal and everyone lost interest. 

he had a bit part a few years back as the merboy in 'another gay movie.'  I do not believe that the Oscar is anywhere in his future.

I'm not saying this as a Brent Corrigan apologist but he was in a few movies and actually was not bad in a few. 

His critics might say he is a little queen who is stuck up and acts like he is full of himself. There are accounts of people, whether in the business or just fans, encountering this. 

I have never met him, nor has anyone I know, so I can't say one way or the other. In his Cobra Video days...he was a hot bottom...until other hot bottoms came along that were better! Kyle Ross (Helix) comes to mind...though there are a few others as well.

Corrigan (aka Sean Paul Lockhart) was in a movie I really liked: "Judas Kiss." His supporting role was so good I thought that would be a spring board into more mainstream movies (he had a minor role in the Oscar-winning film, "Milk").

While he ended up starring in a few indie movies, "SPL" never captured the magic he had in "Judas Kiss." 

Either he just isn't a good actor, has a personality that turns people off, or can't escape his porn days (some combination perhaps). After his starring role in - the filled with potential but God awful movie - "Truth," he just kinda vanished. 

I know this. He's human. When he was young, he went through some fucked up shit. So wherever Corrigan ("SPL") is, I hope he's with people or a special guy that actually cares about him. 

However perv and nasty and taboo we might like our sex and porn, regardless of what we may have done or been in the past...we all could use love in our lives. Even if only a little.

I would have more sympathy if he left porn completely, but he always goes back to it, so it's not like he's trying to put it past him. He's also on Rentboy (saying he reserves the right to walk out if he doesn't find the guy, the client, attractive enough, no joke) and does raw porn when he's said he regrets it and does a whole PSA on safe sex.  

His been with Falcon Studios. He just released a new scene with JJ Knight. I honestly had more respect for him when he was still a twink because at least he was just naive and was professional about it. But he's starting to abuse his life for marketing stuff and becoming a hypocrite in the process. I think he's still in a mindset where he thinks he's special cause he's gay porns biggest name - which, in fairness, is pretty hard in such an ageist and shallow industry.

He should embrace his porn life or drop it forever and become an actor, because until he retires being a fuckboy is all he'll be known for.

Very well said chasejake. You aren't really bashing him. What you are pointing out is the truth about who he is, or presents himself to be. 

I stand by what I said about him in my posts. Both the good and bad.

My biggest issue with him is the hypocritical nature and attacks he posted on his website about barebacking. Most of us watch porn because it's what we desire and want...but can't necessarily have. To knock the bareback industry, those who love it, and those of us that embrace the way we think sex between men should be is not only hypocritical...but obtuse and narrow minded. That's really my only beef with him...his overtly critical nature of "us." 

As for who he is and what he does? My closing statement in my previous post stands. I hope he finds peace and people who really do care about him. Especially considering everything that he went through. 

Just don't get on those of us that don't share your beliefs on bareback fucking.

I did talk to him on Facebook a few times but he blocked me when he tried to get me to pay him for a private video (I wasn't interested in his private videos because I had a few of his porns from way back when). I told him I'm not paying for something I can get for free in person down the street from me. Other than that one stuck up moment from him I experienced, I honestly can't speak bad of him.
