In the past I've had gono and chlamydia, both in ass and throat. I've also had LGV in the ass several times: this is chlamydia on steroids and the symptoms are full on and savage. You definitely want treatment, within days. Honestly.

I had a raging case of syphilis last year.  It progressed in three months to neuro syphilis (probably due to an immune suppressing drug I take for a skin condition) and that shit was HORRIBLE.  For two months I had extreme abdominal pain and nightly fevers that were so bone rattling I thought I was dying.  The left side of my face became paralyzed and my hearing was significantly damaged.  I lost 40% in one ear, 60% in the other, I had the worst tinnitus you could imagine, and what I could hear was pitch shifted so everyone sounded like Alvin and the Chipmunks.  As funny as that might sound, it sucked.  I couldn’t listen to music because it sounded so fucked up.  After it was diagnosed I had to undergo two weeks of daily infusions of the gnarliest antibiotic they had.

   Luckily the treatment reversed the neurological effects.  My facial paralysis and the hearing damage were resolved but it took a lot of time.

    My case was extreme, but get tested regularly and take care of any syphilis infection as early as possible.

I've had chlamydia, chronic gonorreaha, chronic yeast, herpes, hep-c. I've had them for many years, decades. The herpes is just typical but almost always dormant and undetectable, the chlamydia has been treated.

Shigella last year. Nasty! 4 weeks of amazingly bad gastro. Drug resistant to all but one IV antibiotic that required hospitalization. But at least I achieved my goal weight! 🤣 Plus gono and hsv2 earlier on the same overseas trip. Luckily the trip was long enough to recover from each and carry on. And I picked the shigella up on my very last day/sex party, so it only hit as I was arriving home. Welcome back! 🤷‍♂️
