What specifically seems awkward about it? I'll be the first to admit that there have been times I got the date mixed up and thought I was at cumunion, based on the raw cock I was getting in my hole, only to realize I was a week early... So to me, cumunion isn't necessarily different from any other night at the bathes. That could differ depending on what city you're in - I can only speak to my experience in Toronto.

Basically, it's just a night where you need the bulk of the people around either want loads in their holes, or want to dump loads into said holes. And it's a night when you can be really damn forward about that fact. But I don't find that all that much different than any other night, since it's not like on I don't take any load I can find on the non-Cumunion trips to the bath house.

I'd say go early (at or before the start time, so you can take full advantage of the set hours - in Toronto, it often starts to empty out at the event end time, even though there's nothing saying you have to stop barebacking and leave right the second the event ends). If possible, get yourself a room. Even if you like dark room or open area fucking, sometimes have a private space you can go back to will make you feel more comfortable, and also make some guys comfortable approaching you. Be clear about what you're after, and be open-minded about getting there. Normally wouldn't fuck in the open? No one is gonna judge you on a night when we're all there for the same reason... just try it. Not sure you're totally into a guy? Im on the fence about going to the one in Orlando this july, thanks for the insight shared here, I have never even been to an adult theater/bathhouse, Im guessing I should probably pop that cherry before going to something like cumunion. THIS. My number one piss off at bath houses is guys who are just outright rude or hostile to other guys there. I get it... Sometimes, a guy will be really pushy/aggressive, won't take no for an answer, and you've got to give a firm and clear "No", and if that doesn't work, escalate a little bit, walk away, find someone who can help get your point across. But there's a good number of guys out there who will say 'ew' in response to an advance from someone outside their ideals, or something even more insulting or hostile. I've gotten up from situations and walked out when someone I was playing with had a really disrespectful attitude toward people who were just paying him a compliment, or who was having a hard time reading our interest level.

You catch more guys with honey than vinegar, guys. You're going to have a better night if you're positive and friendly than if you're a mean bitch. 

Now, if I guy likes being humiliated, shamed, degraded, and you're both getting off on that, that's completely different than being rude and insulting to a guy who's just trying to have a good night. I'm all about this philosophy. I mean, I'll take pretty much anything, just throw me in a sling and blindfold me... slap some restraints on...  What choice do I even have? I have to put my two cents on this topic because I LOVE BATHHOUSES and Cumunion. To me the party just means there are a lot more guys. The place may be packed and guys will be going at it everywhere. Its a place and time to let go of your inhibitions. I was at Cumunion at Hawks PDX in Portland last Saturday. It was great. At one point I went into the central open area where there is a big screen and couch like benches. There was a crowd. I just bent over the end of one of the benches. By the way I walk around naked. Towels are a pain to keep track of.

     It did feel a little awkward being naked and putting myself out there like that in such a public way. It was so much fun. I only had to be there a few minutes before I was mounted. There were two guys getting fucked in front of me and a whole lot of guys watching the scene. If you like being watched or are thinking of trying out some exhibitionism Cumunion is great.      I think the best advice I can give it to decide what you want to get out of the party and go for it. The previous posts give great advice. Listen to them.

What about Tampa Men's Club? I was there a month ago for the first time. It is a big place that seemed clean and orderly. The clerk was a total bitch, very unfriendly. It is a cash only business. They have a rule about wearing something on your feet (they rent flip-flops of course) and take a $5 deposit to make sure your return your towel I guess.. It if is your first time at any place like this don't be intimidated by the staff. Most places are super friendly and have great guys manning the check-in. Tell them its your first time. Ask for a tour. Go some afternoon mid-week when it is likely to be slow. They will have time to show you around and you can look about without feeling like a tourist. If you can bring a friend it will be a fun adventure for the both of you.

I have logged a lot of bathhouse hours in twenty years all over the country and it is different everywhere you go. Honestly I rarely see any CD dressing at the bathhouses and none at a Cumunion event. Some places outright ban anything like that others are more liberal. Some bathhouses have bisexual nights where I would assume CD dressing would be acceptable. Felchingpisser has good advice about checking websites and frequently asked questions or all up the venue and ask. 

     I am not sure how fishnets would go over at a Cumunion event. If they don't outright ban it I would say go for it. You would probably be unique in that crowd and it might attract a lot of attention. Are you prepared for that? Can you handle a line-up of guys waiting to load up your fem hole? Just a thought. If you go for it lets us know what happens.
