Wasn't going to, but the more insane the attacks on him get, the more I'm wondering "Why do all the political and media scumbags hate him?"

I know the answer to this one: because he's deplorable. A born-rich priviledged draft dodger who has public humiliated himself, his trainwreck of a family, the Republican party and the United States.

He's a walking maloprop who is incapable of speaking sans teleprompter least he create another catastrophe.

He will be the argument against having a  "citizen president" for the next generation.

He has gone out of his way to insult every demographic except privileged white straight cis men.

He incapable of speaking the truth...even when it would serve him better than a lie.  He has systematically thrown lifelong friends under the political bus in an effort to appear lucid, competent and aware of whats going on around him.

He is not Sarah Palin... but he's an incredible stimulation.

What are the chances the Democrats nominate someone with rational economic policies, who doesn't favor illegal immigrants over American citizens, and who isn't hostile to the 2nd Amendment?

Make America Great Again!

How can any of you socialist democrat "progressive" stooges seriously believe that any of your presidential candidates actually care about YOU?  Elizabeth Warren & Hillary Clinton & Bernie Sanders & Cory Booker & all the rest care NOTHING about you.  They are fucking POLITICIANS.  All  they want to do is get elected!  What has Nancy Pelosi & all of the other elected bastards & bitches actually done to earn their $250,000.000 lifetime pensions!?  Wake up & smell the coffee, guys, Politics is nothing more than a BUSINESS, & it seems Donald Trump is the only one who understands that!  END POLITICS AS USUAL --- RE-ELECT TRUMP!

Trump has eroded environmental safety standards, exploded the national debt, ruined our relationship with most of our top allies, reversed/grew the number of people who are uninsured, and has raised the price of goods via tariffs in China.  Let's also not forget his racist tone and lake of human decency towards non white people.  Additionally, the interest rates have increased due to many of his economic policies... is this why you'd vote for him again?  He lies about everything (proven that he has lied more than the last 5 presidents combined)!

As for running the country like a business... you do know that he has filed for bankruptcy multiple times, and the role of government is not to run like a business, the role of government is to protect its citizens (which he has not done).  There are no perfect politicians, but we can look at what people say they will do and what the have done as the gage for their honesty.  Trump has not done what he said he would do, he's inexperienced in negotiating, he thinks he is above the law, and he's actually making money from his outside businesses while in office.

Ask yourself why he refuses to follow the constitution and work with the impeachment hearings.  If he had nothing to hide, he'd cooperate.  But since he has done so many illegal things, including tax evasion, he does not deserve the position of president.

Also, please define what you mean by "Make America Great Again". This isn't a catchy phrase with no meaning behind it.  At what point was our country great?  At what point has our country presented fairness and equal opportunity for everyone?  At what point did all of our citizens have affordable healthcare? No homelessness?  Affordable education for everyone? Please define for us what "great" looks like.

What he states is not false, so why don’t YOU cite facts or stfu.  Like most Trump fans, you are a perfect example of the Dunning-Kruger Effect.

MAGA = Manipulating America’s Gullible Assholes.

It has taken more than 50 years, but the communist/marxist/socialist/"progressive" takeover of the Democrat party has finally happened.

In 1989 the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was "dissolved," & now, 30 years later, the United Socialist States of America is on the verge of being formed, if the "progressives" have their way!

Of course I am voting to re-elect Donald Trump in 2020!

Socialism failed in the USSR & in Germany & in Italy & in the Scandanavian countries & in Cuba & in Cambodia & in Vietnam & in Venezuela & everywhere else it was tried.

I haven't seen this kind of mass hysteria since Princess Diana lost her life 20+ years ago, & the reason for it is this:  The direction that the Democrat party has been taking in the last 10 or 20 years is so radical & so dangerous that they have to do & say everything they can do to DEFLECT attention from their own totally-un-American agenda.

Donald Trump is obviously not the threat to democracy that the "progressives" are trying to portray him as, & most Americans are figuring this out!  His approval-rating is actually higher than Obama's at the same point in his presidency!

There's so much here to unpack.

Firstly, which one is it? Is it communist, marxist, socialist or progressive? Because they all mean incredibly different things. I can also promise you that it's not a joint effort from all four camps, because trying to get factions of the left to work together is like trying to make a herd of stray cats perform a magic trick, it ain't happening.

The USSR, East Germany, Cuba, Vietnam and Cambodia never tried socialism, they tried communism. Communism sucks balls. Not in the good way either. It's a shit, unworkable system which rewards corruption. None of the major players in the Democratic Party, not a single one, is anywhere near what could be described as communist.

Venezuela could be argued to have tried to nearest thing to pure socialism, albeit a heavily authoritarian version. Anything authoritarian will naturally also suck balls.

Italy has never been anywhere near implementing socialism, they're famously right leaning. Fascism and all that?

Scandinavian countries have never tried socialism. They're Democratic Socialists, which is a markedly different thing. And, as it happens, they're all doing rather well. Don't believe the silliness about Sweden, it's an incredibly stable and successful country.

What you think is radical is par for the course almost everywhere else in the world. Some of the Democrats you're concerned about would be called right wing in most of the political world.

Trump isn't a massive threat to democracy, you're right. Those who view him as so are looking at the small term bump rather than the long term movements worldwide. He is dangerous, we've seen that this week, breathing new life into ISIS and turning our backs on the allies which helped us contain them, but there are checks and balances in place to prevent him tearing down institutions. He is also exponentially preferable to Pence, who is genuinely terrifying.

The furthest left candidates standing are Sanders and Warren. They want to give Americans what the rest of the civilised world already has, healthcare for all with nobody going bankrupt over medical bills, a fairer benefit system which actually helps people to help themselves and to narrow the monumental gap between the rich and poor.

I struggle to think how any of those could be seen as a bad thing.

You must be confused.  Evidently you mean the 51% in the Fox News poll that want Trump impeached  and removed from office.   What percent of the electorate wanted Obama impeached and removed from office?

The reality her is we cannot  win arguing with these conservative geniuses because no matter how much truth you throw at them or how many facts you show them, they have drunk the koolaid and will believe anything the orange turd tells them. Eventually they'll just shoot "fake news!" and "MAGA!" Let's just walk away from this and leave them to their delusions.
