So, while I don't like much about Trump --- the often unnecessary combativeness, the deference to aspects of the police state ---  the Democrats are worse on all the issues that matter to me, and the Democrat propaganda about him being "Anti-LGBT" is just scare-talk to keep low-information voters on the plantation. 

I also like that he doesn't seem hot and heavy to start wars in the Middle East like the last two presidents.

The Interstates were built by private companies. Usually a relative or “contributor” to some crook in the Government. Imagine the waste and corruption if the Government actually built them. You paid into Social Security, and they gave your money to welfare queens to buy votes. Every year it’s “we’re out of money for Social Security so we have to print more”.  Police and fire are locally financed. And it’s spelled “addle” not “adle”. Why are social democrats so hateful and always calling us bad names? Is it the drugs you all take?

Thank you coastal elite for telling us how to vote.  Anyone who advocates the Green New Deal, Medicare for All, etc... need to just focus on the coastal elites, cause we will not vote them in.  We may not like Trump, but he is not condescensing af.

Why would you want to make money for a company that would fire you unless the G makes them keep you? The HRC rates companies so you can work for, and buy from, companies that support us. Likewise there are ways to avoid some companies for animal testing, building land mines, gun issues pro and con, etc.

There are certainly issues that should be debated. Government health care is one, because even if it is good (which is always A maybe) it opens the door to Government control.

Descovey costs almost $2,000 a month and HIV meds usually cost around $3,000.

The average nonlethal gunshot wound costs about $50,000 to patch up. In “gun free” Chicago, there are 30-40 every weekend. Add that up. More laws is not the answer in my opinion. 
 

There are no cheap motorcycle accidents. 
 

Drug companies deserve to get paid for developing new drugs, to fund the next one. Is there more incentive to create maintenance drugs rather than cures? Inquiring minds want to know.
 

One suggestion is private insurance companies who compete for better service, for average health care under, say, $500. The Government covers major illnesses and injuries. But this gives them an excuse to outlaw sex, self defense, motorcycles.... and then in a year or two they regulate how much you drive your car, how much ice cream you can buy, etc.

It looks to me like the system we have now might be pretty good after all.

The ability to ascribe moral judgement to who you work for is a privilege. For many people, the choice is between working for your current employer and not being able to make ends meet. Sure, I'm in a position to refuse to provide any labor that benefits a homophobe. Others are not. I don't judge them for making a living doing something that hurts no one -- obviously it's different when you're actively enforcing bigotry. Either way, there's no reason someone shouldn't be able to make a living on account of their sexual orientation.
