As someone much older than you I advise you to give this careful thought.  Many performers aren’t grounded enough to make this work. Tragically, some get heavy into drugs.  Others panic as they get older and their career fades.  The sad reality is that some OD on drugs or commit suicide.  It is so sad to learn of an extremely handsome man dying in his 20’s or 30’s.  It is all too common.  On the other hand there are very well-adjusted performers that live full lives during and after their porn careers.  Boomer Banks seems to have his act together.  The key is understanding that a porn career is relatively short.  You need to know that and have an ongoing career outside of porn.  As stated above it isn’t that lucrative anyway.  It is part time and of limited duration.  You have to assess whether you can make it work.
