My STI results are totally normal, so we can rule that out. I think it may be the lube, and also just getting too aggressive with the play. I want to feel something, I want to feel like my hole was thrashed. And I'm running out of time to get opened up, so it's probable that I try to rush the gape. Making up for lost time. And every time I use the Egg Plug, this happens. When I get a dick in there, this doesn't happen at all. Why should a toy have a different result?

Before going to the doctor, I'll try one more experiment. I'm getting some different lube, and I'm going to try not using the plug. If it comes out clean or just poopy, then I think we found the culprit.

Also, it doesn't really "bleed for three days." An exaggeration. It's a small amount, and comes only with a poo the next morning. After that, it's stopped.

Rosebuds don't happen overnight, and I mustn't try to rush the process.

And for the piggies out there reading this, if I'm going to bleed like this, it'll be one less thing you have to do to infect me. 😈 A built-in feature, lol.

As a long term bottom, I can tell you it’s not normal. You need to be checked. If it was me I would do the following in this order; 1) get an STI test. 2) go see my doctor.

Bleeding for days after sex and/or playing with your dildos is not normal. You may have torn the skin inside and every time you play u open it up. Or it could just be an internal hemorrhoid. It could be something more serious. Please see your doctor so you can continue to have fun and maybe we get to see you in future porn!!!

I have a similar problem with anal and penile bleeding that was caused by psoriasis. I might be the one person in the world this happened to, but perhaps worth a thought.

You clearly don't want to see the doctor...why ask for advice?

Because I tend to overdramatize. It might not be serious enough to warrant a visit. I could just refrain from put things in my butt. Problem solved.

Speaking with the full authority of the medical degree I got from the bottom of a box of Cracker Jacks, I’d say this sounds like hemorrhoids. Are you chasing?  It sounds like a good opportunity to cross that finish line. If you aren’t chasing, then stay true to your Prep regimen, and stick to the daily dosing and not the incidence dosing routine.

A recent communication with a rubber dragon has found my issue.

As I suspected earlier, it's the lube. I'm using Elbow Grease lube, which is oil-based. And the Square Peg toys are silicone. This can cause all sorts of issues, and I think we found our culprit. I'll be going to the local leather store this week for some Swiss Navy, which always worked before and never did this crap.

But it would probably still be a good idea to go to the doctor to at least make sure there's no permanent damage. Also, I'm getting to an age where the colon may start to go. Don't men in their 40s and 50s start getting colonoscopies and stuff? And I just may be due for one in the near future.

Personally I think most guys who get fucked regularly should have periodic rectal exams precisely for that reason - to monitor for damage. Not that getting fucked is inherently dangerous, but it's not an unknown outcome, either.

Still, this is rectal damage, not colon damage (I suspect your colon is fine). The official American Cancer Society recommendation is for screenings for colon cancer to start around age 45, but those screenings do not necessarily need to include full colonoscopies. For people at average risk, an annual stool-based test with a more invasive test every 5 to 10 years may be plenty enough.

Ok seems like nobody has the balls to say anything here, trying to just soften it up with "something more serious". Here's the deal, please make an appointment with a professional doctor, you could have bowel cancer right now and you don't want to waste your time asking strangers here. Do that ASAP. I wish you well.

I commented awhile back...that he clearly was avoiding the Dr and he confirmed.

An update:

I've asked around on the subject, and got an answer that addressed the cause. I can't mix oil-based lube with silicone toys! So I got some Swiss Navy lube, and after two experiments, there has been no blood. We found the culprit.

Some of you will continue to push me to see the doctor. This is something that I will do, but before I go, I still have a question.

Do I go to a general doctor - one who treats multiple things - or can I do this with a sexual health doctor? Sex is kinda how I ended up in this position, and I have a better chance of seeing such a physician if it's a better choice anyway.

No more arguing over whether I need to see a doctor. I'll go. Let's focus on the other matter as well.

I'd see a Colo-Rectal specialist, luckily in Ft Lauderdale we have 1 of the BEST who is very tuned into the GAY Community. Or see who ever you feel most comfortable speaking about your sexual activities.

I'd suggest starting with a sexual health doctor, who's more likely to have seen similar issues (and since sex seems to be the proximate cause). If he (or she) feels you should see a colo-rectal specialist, a referral is then easy to get.

FWIW, my HIV doctor serves as my primary care doctor, generally speaking, because I'm already seeing him twice a year, and so he's in the best position to monitor my overall health. He's also very attuned to issues that can come up with my HIV medications, so when my kidney function seems off, or my cholesterol runs high (all of which are tested for in my blood panels), he can either deal with it or send me on to a specialist.

For someone who's not positive, that may not be as workable a solution (I suspect most sexual health doctors have busy enough practices testing for and treating the general panoply of STI's, and aren't in a position to take general care of a patient's health - especially for ones who only show up when they've got syphilis or gonorrhea or whatever). But for those of us who are HIV-positive, your HIV doctor is almost certainly a good general resource and he can make referrals for things he's not as well-versed in.

A bit over 5 years ago, I too was bleeding far too often. I too thought it might be a hemorroid. Turns out, it was stage 2 anal cancer. Go get it checked out! The treatment sucked, but I'm 5 years out, cancer free as of last check.
