Looks like you might also have acquired/passed it at HH as well? I don't know the incubation time for this.

It can take several weeks for syphilis to show up in a blood test.  Hopefully all the guys who go to Horsefair are also going for regular STI check-ups. If they have contracted anything, it should eventually be picked up in the course of their regular screening.  Same for the guys at Hampstead Heath, though I fear users of that particular haunt are in general careful of their sexual health.

BTW to all readers of my original messsge, ididn't say I got it at the event...merely that I'd tested positive for it and presumably was so on the day itself.
