I was thinking the same thing. 

I had a condom nazi for a bottom exactly one time in the last 15 or so years. I tried, really did, but it wasn't happening so I told him to find someone else, not interested in something so boner-killing. I've never had to be asked and even discussion of status now doesn't happen that often.

I put as much details as possible in my profile on hookup apps for the top to understand that I am a total bareback bottom. Despite that if they ask for condoms I respectfully refuse the hookup. I used to do this a lot in my younger days. I think some tops or guys actually wanted bareback but didn't want to admit it. I remember a guy once I went to his place and he had a condom on his night stand and we never used it. I remember some guys would be like "I really want to fuck you bare" and I'd be like ok sure. A lot of tactics I used to do was kind rub my ass against their raw dick and tease their raw cock with my hole. This would work most of the time and they'd realize they want their raw dick in my hole over a dumb condom. Did not always work. Sometimes some guys or tops were commited to the condom. I would generally intentionally be extra tight or give resistance. If they asked why I'd just say I'm not used to condoms or the latex kinda bothers me. And either they would keep trying a few times but then just give up and be like "Fuck it" and just fuck me raw. 

At places like sex clubs or similar places guys were usually pretty quick to drop the condom if either I let them know I wanted it raw. Sometimes I would take the condom off the guy before he fucked me. He would know I was doing this of course but I wonder if it kinda turned them on knowing that I was dismissing the condom and giving them full control to decide to fuck me raw and bareback me. I did have a guy or two who did not like that though and would either call it off completely or just take out a new condom but that was pretty rare. I want to say "most" guys now probably are more likely to fuck bare. But I have seen on apps and websites guys list condoms or or say side which makes me think they might be more serious about condoms. Fortunately I haven't really ran into this aside from side guys. I did have a guy recently though who was hesitant to fuck without a condom until I told him i'm undetectable then he really had no issues after that. I don't think I would intentionally or try to get together with a guy on an app or website that says they use condoms unless there was a serious attraction or connection between us both. Then I'd probably have to think if I could convince them or not.
