just make sure your banner picture is G/PG - having an x-rated banner picture will get you kicked pretty quickly ..

TBH, the entire thing sounds like NT was someone's hobby that got out of hand and they couldn't support it by advertising. I'm sure the bandwidth and hosting costs were thousands  of $ per month.

Any information people have posted is just rumors. The NT people have said absolutely nothing which I find pretty weird.

I know what you mean. One of the reasons I loved NT was the wide variety of porn on there. I have many different tastes and interests beyond bdsm.

But I find it not very user friendly. They want money for premium. And there's way too much pussy that comes up when you try and search.

You are right about all of those things, but it seems to be the best alternative for now.  I also find it slow and clunky. But it's free and you do get what you pay for.

This is pretty correct. Dean who handled most of the system architecture left in 2020 and newtumbl never recovered. The founders were open the main purpose was to facilitate adult content sharing. They used some corporate speak like, "meeting an opening in the market," and the opening was tumblr banning adult content. But they ran into why tumblr stopped allowing it in the first place. The site needed constant babysitting to handle legal compliance on a skeleton staff with no hope of improvement.

Is it possible that they weren't commenting so that their own words couldn't be used as evidence against them if something came up legally during the foreseeable future?
