Complicated Random hook ups.

It's because dating apps give users many options, so people became quite selective when it comes to hooking up with random guys. Personally, I prefer to hook with other trans/sissies and with older chubby guys who are into: BDSM and Role play, and I state that clearly in my profile.

I've learned not to take the apps seriously. For many, including me sometimes they are a place to visit when horny and/ or bored. I live in a medium sized city and I see pretty much the same guys all the time. I'm lucky to find a handful that are regulars and find very few new guys to hook up with. I've had plenty of guys engage in hot banter only to suddenly disappear and sometimes even ghost me. I no longer get upset....it is what it is.

guys on hookup sites have a million questions, half of them are just jerking off and a number of the others pussy out.

That's happened to me many times. Just recently some twink claiming to be a cumdump actually directed me to a random address. Needless to say the homeowner wasn't too pleased to get a knock from a stranger at 6am. He never logged back onto the site either. Got his nut off and disappeared.

There were always complicated guys, lurkers, pic savers etc. But it’s gotten worse after then pandemic. And I don’t even hook up that much anyway and am noticing it. It’s like half the world lost all social skills and they never relearned them. Hell I even get weird interactions now while shopping at Costco.

yes, thats one of the reasons i became such a bathhouse cumdumpster and porntheatre whore. i knew i could just go in and find horny men looking to use a whore like me to get themselves off. no bs, no games, no pretending to wanna date me or have any interest in me as a person at all. just sliding up into my guts and blowing loads in some trashy whore that just got bred by an unknown number of complete strangers. guys on hookup sites have a million questions, half of them are just jerking off and a number of the others pussy out. some days its good and i can make a number of pump n dump pit stops but in a porntheatre or bathhouse i can just srip naked and get used and everyone there knows i’m a fucktoy and will be super easy to fuck.

Stripping naked and being noticed by the entire place Used to be such a hot time for me. I’d go into a video booth and strip and the have the door completely open as I stood nude. The traffic past my booth would increase and a guy would go into the booth beside mine or come into mine. Either  way I looked slutty and loved that I got guys attention. If the guy next to me ever fucked me through the hole I would be so into taking that dick. Telling the guy to blow his load in me and knowing guys were outside my door and could hear it. Not locking the door so it could be opened and see me naked with my ass taking a raw cock through a hole in a wall. And when I would come out, everyone knew that I might look innocent but I wasn’t.

just as efficient as cruising areas to take the most dick in the least amount of time.

Sometimes just being a pump and dump bottom seem like it shouldn’t need so many emails. But always worth it if someone else is taking care of that and letting me get the loads

The netiquette as well as general social graces have morphed over the past 30 years into a mish-mash of selfishness, arrogance, stupidity and pettiness. I am old enough to remember the iRC and AOL chatrooms as an user, not only as someone who heard about them.  The beginning was awesome because most of us were computer-literate and super excited to find new ways of communicating, dating and living a fantasy for real. However, the anonymous identity behind your nickname soon started to give way to a new range of behaviours, such as misrepresenting your stats, photos, likes and dislikes. Also, the amount of porn (gay or straight) started to really take off, and many people found it very comfortable to have a wank in front of the screen while sex chatting somone 2,000 miles away.  And from there to today's online behaviour bad things got worse and good things, well, not much left of them....

I did, and still do, have a profile on a few apps, however I have been ghosted, catfished, stood up, you name it, a few times. Somewhere around 2015 I stopped using these apps as they were just the dumbest way to spend time hoping that the guy you're chatting with will actually turn to be a good fuck irl. Out of 10-12 people who messaged me daily, only 2 or 3 a month would materialise in something concrete. And even then, the hard top becomes a cum dump bottom when he sees my dick, a twink bottom turns out to be 230 lbs of organic fat, etc.

So, I think as a social group, we need to realise that real like encounters are mostly happening in sex clubs, baths, saunas, adult cinemas... and that chances of meeting someone irl from an app are diminishing by each passing day. We are persuaded to pay more for hundreds of more profiles, thinking that just when you scroll down one more time you will find the man of your dreams. Well, my friends, that ain't happening that often. Some of us may have indeed found the love of our lives online on one of the apps. We may have had a great fuck now and then, but my overall opnion of the apps is that they are good if you want to live in a virtual reality where your mind is racing and fantasizing about the greatest fuck.

I do hope that bars, clubs and saunas will someday make a comeback. Because as it stands right now, very lucky few are getting to put their hands on a hard throbbing cock, whilst the vast majority are busy scrolling right, left, down and up.... And the screen is crisp clean: not a trace of cum LOL

I get people trying to catfish me on a4a especially all the time.

A4A, at least here, is mostly used as a dating app. The profiles mostly have long lists of what they are looking for in a LTR, with the sexual preferences left blank. I gave up on it.

Here's a thought: maybe some people are misrepresenting themselves by using older pics or having some (to put it mildly) artistic license with their stats. That's likely why a lot of people ghost - because they would otherwise be found out to be different from what they claimed.

It seems a common behaviour - so I ask what motivates that? My answer is that advertising, porn, and gay culture shows us images that are not a reflection of how many of us really are  Do people then try to live up to these images and expectations by exaggerating aspects of their profiles? This further perpetuates that 'image' and it becomes a vicious circle.

Images are beginning to change but I think it's an 80/20 thing where 80% of us aren't like the images we see in the gay media. And yet 80% of gay media is pushing that image.

It's not healthy and I think what we see with people's behaviour in the apps is just a symptom of that.

You make interesting points. I guess we’ve probably all been guilty at some point in not updating profile pictures. I know I have. I don’t believe I’ve ever misrepresented how I look, though, and I’ve been very fortunate not to change much in the last 15 years - except perhaps I’m slimmer and more muscular than I was then.

Some commentator once referred to Grindr as the world‘s largest collection of 10 year old photos. These days I send that to an all the sex apps, and I’m guilty of it. Well, maybe not 10 years old, but only a couple of the photos on my Scruff sites are up-to-date. It just doesn’t mean to me to constantly update.  To me, the sites are a frustrating amusement. Too many people a thousand miles away looking for, what, pen-pals? Or love (I’m ten inches, hungry bottom, mild-to-wild. And a ripped body-builder, but not interested in hook-ups). I love those. All those salacious details - Sure sounds like they wanna hook up. But you know, they’re only looking for love, not sex. I should pitch a television series based around this stuff.

  • Delete a4a, bbrt, manhunt profiles (they've basically become xxx pic and amateur porn sharing sites)
  • Pay for Grindr Xtra or Unlimited and use filters (photos 👉 has face pics)
  • Use social media (FB & Twitter) if you are in a medium to large city to search for locally organized sex parties
  • Log off - go out to the cruise park, ABS, bath or gym
